Lone Star Residence is newly built and furnished to exceptionally high standards. It is an inviting, spacious, hospitable place to stay with excellent facilities - kitchen especially but in truth, all rooms. Location - 15 mins taxi Palaly Int Airport; 5 mins drive Inuvil railway station; 10/15 mins drive Jaffna; 5 mins drive Chunnakam. The actual physical location is attractive in its serenity. Its located in a quiet lane on Manipay Road overlooking agricultural land owned/rented by smallholders. Noise and external interference is absolutely minimal.

One of the cleanest and most comfortable places we stayed during our travels around Sri Lanka. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and polite, making us feel right at home. The room was spacious with comfortable bed. Sri Lankan breakfast was absolutely delicious. We also appreciated having access to the kitchen fridge and the reliable Wi-Fi. Jaffna turned out to be an unexpected highlight of our trip — such a hidden gem! Highly recommended!

The villa offers a personal butler and a personal chef for your stay. You can wish for any food you like and they will make everything from scratch for you. There is also a private swimming pool and backyard. The whole accommodation is five star european standard clean! Janakan, Mehkala and Ramesh took great care of us, we felt better than at home. Will definitely come back!

A very nice hotel in the heart of Jaffna, yet in a quiet location. The rooms are nice and spacious and consist of a living area and a bedroom. The restaurant is highly recommended. It serves very authentic and delicious regional cuisine. The staff is very accommodating, and Dinesh, in particular, gave us a lot of additional information. The hotel is good value for money, and we ate in the restaurant every evening and tried many dishes on the menu. The pool and gym are cleaned daily, and everything is very tidy.

We stayed is a large, cool and beautifully clean room. Bed comfortable and sheets soft. Great to come back to a big cool shower after the hot walks aground Jaffna. Easy to find and well located. Neighbour has a Tuk Tuk so lifts can be arranged or PickMe works well.

From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere—filled with the gentle rustle of palm trees and birdsong—made it easy to unwind. The villa itself is impeccably maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The interiors are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with modern amenities (like a fully equipped kitchen and cozy bedrooms) that made our stay effortless. But the true star of the show is the outdoor space! Our kids loved playing freely in the safe, open area, and we cherished the alfresco dining setup surrounded by nature.
