Villa sea breeze was such a a lovely place to stay for our last couple of nights in Sri Lanka. It's in a great location for the airport and the beach/lagoon but very quiet. The pool was huge and deep enough for a proper swim. The outdoor area was really well done and it was lovely to have the space to ourselves. The villa bedrooms are decorated really nicely with lots of Sri Lanka art and felt very homely. The beds were huge and really comfy and the aircon was great and very quiet. The owner met us with the keys and showed us round. There was a great functioning kitchen with tea/coffee and milk provided and cold water. Nothing too much trouble as usual in this wonderful country. We ordered lunch to be delivered by the pool, from a local restaurant (Uber eats tuk tuk!!) and both evenings went to Dutch Trails restaurant by the lagoon. This was very classy and lots of seafood and other western and Sri kankan dishes. But very reasonable price and of course great service. The villa owner arranged for a tuk tuk for us to get there would highly recommend for a bit if r and r before or after the airport.

This is the perfect place to start or finish your trip to Sri Lanka. Hiru Lagoon sits right on the lagoon and you wake up to the most beautiful sunrise. The room is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is a great pool that looks out directly into the water. We were the first to try the newly purchased kayak and had fun paddling round the lagoon. We were also fortunate enough to be taken for a boat ride round the lagoon at sunset which was spectacular. Included breakfast was plentiful and delicious and we got to try something different every day. We also decided to stay in for dinner each night and it was an amazing introduction to Sri Lankan food. We left relaxed and cared for.

Brand new property run by a lovely couple who were there to help with anything you needed. They spoke fluent Italian after living there for 20 years. The hotel was designed to a thoughtful high standard. Spacious rooms most with balcony access and large sitting areas in the rooms proximity makes it perfect for families or friends wanting a place to relax. The roof terrace and hotel is tastefully filled with amp plants and lots of areas with the cooler air from the lagoon. A small but welcome swimming pool with seating area and higher room terrace gives you amazing views of the lagoon. There is a bar for your convenience as well. We were the first guests - Absolutely fantastic!

Villa sea breeze was such a a lovely place to stay for our last couple of nights in Sri Lanka. It's in a great location for the airport and the beach/lagoon but very quiet.
