Lovely, accommodating family. Looked after us well. Host took us on an informal safari trip to see animals truly in the wild and history of local boulders. Great pool. Excellent food. Beautiful unspoilt beach but not for swimming.

- the staff: very friendly, approachable, and helpful. It felt like we were staying at friends. They always looked after our every need, prepared our breakfast at 5 in the morning before we went on a safari trip, and gave us coconuts and mango's free of charge while we were staying on the beach which is right in front of the house - the location: deep inside Kirinda, a perfect nature retreat with absolutely no outside world interference. A beautiful garden adorned with decorations. Acces to a wild, wide beach with the most amazing waves ever. - breakfast was very good. We ate the best mango ever, from one of the staff's personal little gardens. Bonus: they have a special custom - every guest can write something on their walls - we did too.

An exceptional stay! The hotel is brand new, with stunning architecture and interior design. The food was absolutely incredible ! We had misunderstood and thought the pool was available to all guests, but it is actually reserved for the private villa. The owner went above and beyond to make up for our disappointment by offering us a safari tour in a gorgeous Land Rover Defender, with a very kind and knowledgeable guide. Every request we had was taken care of immediately by the amazing team — so friendly, attentive, and helpful. I truly recommend this place without hesitation, and I already can’t wait to come back and stay in the villa next time! A heartfelt thank you to the whole team for this unforgettable experience!

The owner Sehan it is a lovely person! He helps in everything that he can and most!!! He really wants that the guest feels at home!!! He’s a great cook!!!we had the most amazing seafood cooked by himself!!! If you want to go to yala it is a great place to stay and he can arrange a visite to the park in a really nice jeep!! He even came with us!!! The resort it is really nice and because there is only one villa you have all the space for yourself!! We stayed in the Green Nest Yala for one night, but we felt like at home, everything thanks to Athula! He was the kindest and most cheerful person we have met in Sri Lanka, always ready to helped us, made for us delicious dinner and breakfast and even ordered us a tuk tuk (pick me and uber failed) which took as to the Tissamaharama Bus Stand. The stay at the hotel was amazing and we would definitely come back there!!! 😍

A great place to stay and would definitely recommend. Large comfortable room close to the pool, with restaurant and plenty of cold beer. We were very well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Anyone looking for a visit to the National Park should consider staying at Tringa and booking the tour with them as they will make sure you have a great experience.

The family were lovely and so welcoming. We appreciate the small extra things that our host did for us The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was tidy. The bed was comfortable and there was an outdoor verandah area as well Our meals were generous, tasty and well priced. It is close to beaches and the village centre. Local bus stand is about 300 metres away. This is a great place just to chill for a few days. Highly recommended

There is only one room, so you get all the attention from the host. He is a super friendly guy, who fulfills all your wishes. Breakfast and dinner are amazing and more than you can eat 😋 The beach is just a few steps away. It's absolutely beautiful and pieceful. We had a great time there. We do highly recommend this quiet place. And we also recommend going on Safari to Yala with the host's friend.

The staff was very friendly and flexible. The breakfast was delicious. Chaminda was very helpful. We arranged the yala safari via the hotel. The driver Roshan was very good. I recommend the safari to arrange via the hotel. We did evening and next day morning safari. We saw a leopard very close. It was a great experience. The yala entrance is around 20 minutes away by a jeep.

The place is right in front of Kirinda beach, with direct access. This is the best aspect of the place, and we really enjoyed staying to close to the sea. The room was clean and the staff very kind.
