Feels like home! The location is just fabulous if you have your own transport. The service was amazing, Rathne the host did literally everything for us. He is doorman, poolman, waiter, accountant, plumber, cleaner, gardener, guide, mosquito catcher, sportsman,… We had a marvellous stay. The spring water filled swimming pool is just lovely and the food really delicious. Rathne’s wife makes your dinner on demand and she’s very skilled. The spice garden is a hidden gem and we felt so much at ease. There’s also a small playground and badminton field. Prices are fair and transparent. We would recommend the bungalow to everyone in search for a place you will feel at home immediately.

Everything was just perfect!! We stayed in Kandy during the heavy rains 11/25 for 4 days and the hotel staff - although the had to work non-stop - took such good care of us. It’s just incredible how they kept things working (not only electricity, hot water supply, but also exceptional service at any time). It was a national tragedy but this hotel was the best place we could have wished to stay. We can totally recommend this luxury und outstanding accommodation!!

Our stay was incredible such fantastic hospitality from Samira the manager and his team from being greeted with water Lillies to watching a fantastic cookery demonstration in the kitchen. It's unbelievable what treasure we were able to discover here. Small but nice, remote, high in the mountains above Kandy, we had three wonderful days here. Very nice, modern rooms, a breathtaking view and a very strong team make this hotel what it is. Every wish was met and fulfilled. Our daily planning was supported... tucktucks and taxis were organized... and last but not least, an outstanding breakfast was prepared for us every morning according to our wishes. It was wonderful and when we are back in Kandy we won't have to think about where to stay. You're doing great guys, The Summit - Kandy is an absolute recommendation!

We enjoyed everything about this stay! For us this place was great to explore sights nearby Kandy, as well as a region around Sigiriya. Afterwards it was pleasant to return to the hotel and have a rest away from noise and rush. There were everything we needed in the room. Dinners and breakfasts were delightful. There is plenty of wildlife around the hotel that you can meet. We found management of the hotel very professional and attentive. It is impossible to describe all about the villa and facilities of the hotel in short review. We can just advise to stay here if you are traveling in Sri Lanka.
