Great accommodation far away from busy Arugam Bay. If you're looking for an unspoilt area, this is the place to go to. We particularly liked the setup of the tree huts, the views, the bar and restaurant but above all the friendly and tranquil atmosphere. No loud thumping party music, only the relaxing sound of the wind through the trees and the waves nearby. This comes really near to what you imagine when thinking of paradise.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Whisky Point Resort, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!! A special shoutout to Mufaris and Murthala for their outstanding and precise service—they went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The highlight of our stay was the incredible food and drinks. The iced tea was the best we’ve ever tasted, and the pizza was absolutely divine! Every bite and sip transported us to a place of pure bliss. Whisky Point Resort truly feels like a little paradise nestled within an already paradise-like island. The serene ambiance, combined with the warmth and hospitality of the staff, makes this a must-visit destination. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience. We’ll be back for sure!

Everything was perfect, and as always, everything started and ended with the people. Catherine and Michel are amazing people, with a huge heart and a big smile. Always ready to help, with good advice and help with the surfboards, renting a bike, renting a tuk-tuk or any other matter that makes an ordinary vacation so amazing. Another thing, the hotel staff, smiling, polite and kind. It is clear that the place is so important to them as if it were their own home. The place is meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail and this, in my experience, is extremely rare in Sri Lanka. The cabins are cozy, air-conditioned and ventilated. The beds are extremely comfortable, the showers are spacious and partially exposed to the sky and the coconut halves scattered around. Hot water 24/7 is simply magic. The pool is simply amazing, pleasant and clean at all times, spotless. The location - on the pottuvil Point strip and within walking distance of the point itself, which is one of the best in Sri Lanka. Even beginners will enjoy this beach. Even those who do not surf and want to relax will greatly enjoy the special and quiet location. The restaurant is run by a local family and serves varied and delicious food at completely reasonable prices and with meticulous service. You can eat in the restaurant or next to the room. In conclusion, my brother and I stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and I have no doubt that we will return to this magical place again. This place felt magical and we really felt like home here! Don’t know if it’s gonna be that way in a few years, but staying here instead of Arugam Bay was the best decision. The town here is so small but such a safe space! The rooms are decorated with love and the garden is really special as well. This was by far our favorite place to stay in Sri Lanka. We went surfing in the morning (6 am) and it’s just around the corner. A special surprise was the family dinner we had together with all guests, really nice for connecting but also really delicious!! So thankful to have met Sveva and Raj:))

After 2 weeks in Sri Lanka we wanted a luxury one night stay somewhere special, and we certainly got that. The place is beautiful and well kept. The staff are very friendly and professional. The food was fantastic and the chefs clearly know what they are doing. We stayed in a bungalow with your own small private pool, and the bed was so comfortable. It was so nice to have some peace and quiet. Thank you all for a wonderful day and evening. Highly recommend!
