this is an ideal place for privacy and relaxation. There are only birds and lizards around and not a single person. The staff is great! Caring, polite, surrounds with attention and warmth. Very kind and open people. The hotel itself is cute and incredibly authentic, well-kept grounds, cute houses. There is everything you need for a holiday. Very tasty food and great selection of dishes. Incredibly delicious seafood and cool barbecue on the beach. Beautiful and cozy right on the ocean shore.

We had a wonderful stay at Avila Nilaveli Beach. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, with excellent air conditioning that made the heat feel like a distant memory. The location is perfect—just a quick 5-minute walk to the beautiful Nilaveli Beach, which was so convenient for daily visits. What really stood out, though, was the flexibility of the staff. They went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule, adjusting breakfast times to fit with our activities. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing and hassle-free getaway!

Room very spacy (bungalow) with a view on the swimming pool. Staff very friendly, espacially with our children. Very good restaurant (lunch, dinner and amazing breakfast). Good location not far from the beach and pigeon island. You can also walk 10 min to see the crocodiles on the lake!

Hospitality with a heart - the staff was very helpful with all requests we had like Scooters, Doctors and things to do in the area. Not only were they very helpful, they went "the extra mile" to ansure we were only going to people they knew would do their best to meet our needs. All in all it was great and the staff really turns this hotel more into a family stay than a normal holiday.
