What a wonderful place and a great adventure. We love the location, the little house is super clean, no mosquitoes and the best natural swimming pool. The food is amazing and the owners very sweet and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it to the moon and back. Highly recommended. Also the organized guided tours delivered more than we could hope for.

Where to start? Hemal is such a such a kind guy and the best host you can imagine. It’s a new hotel so I was happy to be the first client. The hotel is at the entrance of the park and besides the great and spacious rooms as well as great food made by his wife, Hemal is an awesome forst guide that spots animals from a distance away! I did both the night tour seeing loris, scorpions, deer and snakes etc. (be silent while he’s spotting) as well as day tour with a.o. endangered monkeys and a beautiful waterfall. Also, from the terraces you can spot a lot of peacocks and other birds in the front of the stay. He also helped me arrange a taxi a good price back. 200% worth the visit!

Our stay at Aadiv Twin Villas was the absolute highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. The hotel is beautiful and full of charm, located in one of the most stunning regions we visited. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful – he truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well cared for. There’s also a lovely swimming pool with breathtaking views – the perfect place to relax and take in the surroundings. And the food… absolutely unforgettable! We had the best curry in all of Sri Lanka right here. A perfect place for anyone looking for comfort, warmth, and a real taste of Sri Lankan hospitality.

The Location is very beautiful, situated in the jungle in a small village. The family was incredibly kind and made our stay feel like home. We had delicious homemade, traditional dinner and breakfast. The house is close to the entrance to Sinharaja Forest and they recommended us a great Guide who spotted lots of animals and showed us many ayurverdic healing plants. I can‘t recommend this place enough :)

The streak of perfect reviews seemed too good to be true - but make no mistake, this is one of the best homestays I’ve experienced in years. Location: Perfect, right in nature’s heart. Apartment: Beautifully built and spotlessly clean. Food: Some of the best I had in 4 weeks across Sri Lanka. Price: the price of the whole package is unmatched in the area. The location of Dolagawa is magical. There is a river and a small waterfall where you can swim right next to the resort. We went to the Sinharaja Forest and the host arranged a 3-4 hour tour for us which was really nice. The food was good and the staff was welcoming, helpful and super friendly!
