The room is clean and looks perfect for short and long stay. Furniture is new as it was built recently. I asked once for bigger table and owner quickly resolved my request. The location is perfect (10 minutes on scooter to Weligama if you need something more). It’s enough distance from train and road to avoid the noise from it. Meanwhile just 3 minutes walking to the beach for lazy left surfing point. The beach nice as well to spend a day. Several cafe/restaurants nearby too. What’s more it’s possible to have a breakfast directly in the room. The place have nice breakfast options. The owner family is polite, responsive and make your time better. I really love morning fruits services to my room in the mornings.

My stay was amazing, the hosts made me feel part of the family since I arrived. A true home away from home. Everything was better than expected. Location is perfect. They put me in a better room than the one I’ve booked. We had bbq together, the wave is right in front. Couldn’t ask for more. They even gave me the best deal renting a bike. So thankful 🙏🏽

I absolutely love this place! The location is perfect – right on the beach, making it so convenient and relaxing. The hosts are a wonderful and welcoming family who truly make you feel at home. I felt very safe throughout my stay, and it’s clear they prioritize their guests’ comfort. The food they prepare is incredible – homemade and absolutely delicious! I will definitely come back here!:)

The staff is lovely, so helpful!! The place is really clean and has some nice social areas. Free filtered water and coffe is a big plus! Also very good value for the money. Nice rooftop perfect for a yoga session. Seaview and close to Midigama beach. Great wifi (quite unlikely here in Sri Lanka) and the room with a fan had a nice little balcony where you could see the ocean.

I liked the rooftop and the good breakfast. The owner gave me good tips for my journey and was very nice. The price was very good and nit expansive. The bed room and bathroom had everything that I needed and was clean. Met some nice visitors there.

Midigama is a great little surf culture town, good food, beaches and surf awesome Ate at the Corner, Cafe Pleasure, Surfing Wombats, Mamas Restaraunt, Gg Francis Seafood , Lazy Right Restaraunt, got fresh pastries of the little Nakery Tuk Tuk Truck, Coconuts and Cold Beers on the beach from Smiley , had a awesome time

Midigama might be cute, but this noisy, super busy main street running directly through it next to the beaches just ruins it a little bit... at least if you looking for serene beach views and relaxed atmosphere. a little gem tho: wild beach cafe!

Good spot for intermediate and advanced surfers, down to earth place, small enough that you meet a lot of people. Good value for money Weligama is big and a bit of a circus but the best place for beginners to surf Ahangama is more expensive, older crowd with more up market boutique hotels restaurants etc, more expensive than Midigama Don’t be afraid to use the buses, they are awesome, TUK TUKs are cool too but more expensive Midigama to Ahangama is 40r on the bus or 500-800 on TUK TUK NB there were police road blocks checking licences. If you hire a scooter you need a permit from columbo I think. Many don’t bother, but carry some cash because you may have to pay off the cops 🤷‍♂️

The place was in a walking distance to the center but in a quiet road. The guys managing the place were really cleaning it 3-4 times per day. I havent seen a cleaner place in Sri Lanka so far. They helped me with everything I asked for both internally and externally. The offer/price balance is the best. I would definitely return and recommend
