We enjoyed our stay so much. The quietness, the nature, the view on the mountain from balcony. Super nice staff. We walked from hotel 2 km to sinharaya rainforest unesco heritage entrance. We were mesmerized by the nature in the rainforest and the surrounding. The hotel is a Super place.

Such a lovely hotel, everything is even more beautifull in real life than in the pictures. Everything was very clean. And the surroundings are also stunning. The hotel is very close to the Kudawa entrance of the rainforest, where you can hire an official guide for 2500 LKR (entrance is 1250 LKR pp). The overall experience was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place.

After a hike through the rainforest with Sunil we were welcomed into his house by the family and Sunil’s wife presented us with a fabulous meal . Similarly , the following morning , after a very early start we hiked in the forest and saw most of the birds we had wanted to see . Sunil is an excellent guide - enthusiastic and very knowledgeable . We were then treated to a great breakfast at Sunil’s house .

An amazing little cabin off the side of a beautiful river with waterfall you can swim in. This was the most unique and amazing rustic hideaway we were in. Such a special place! The family was super kind and the meals were plentiful and delicious. As it is isolated, you will probably eat all your meals here, they are good and well priced. Jungle tour recommended by Sahara, was fun and interesting. He was very easy to coordinate with for the pickup/dropoff by 4x4 from the nearest town. This place is so special, I cannot recommend it enough.

One of the best stays ever, the family is very welcoming, helpful and nice, they took great care of me, always available through Whatsapp to assure my smooth arrival, the property is gorgeous, the scenery overlooking rice paddies is amazing, the room is clean and comfortable. The meals prepared by Umesha are delicious and the tour by Saman is great! Loved my stay here and recommend this property with closed eyes.

Where to start? Hemal is such a such a kind guy and the best host you can imagine. It’s a new hotel so I was happy to be the first client. The hotel is at the entrance of the park and besides the great and spacious rooms as well as great food made by his wife, Hemal is an awesome forst guide that spots animals from a distance away! I did both the night tour seeing loris, scorpions, deer and snakes etc. (be silent while he’s spotting) as well as day tour with a.o. endangered monkeys and a beautiful waterfall. Also, from the terraces you can spot a lot of peacocks and other birds in the front of the stay. He also helped me arrange a taxi a good price back. 200% worth the visit!

During our three unforgettable weeks in Sri Lanka, this was undoubtedly THE best place we stayed. Everything about it was flawless, but what made it truly stand out was the magical setting. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Whether you’re lounging by the serene pool or relaxing on your private balcony, the vistas are like nothing I’ve experienced before – vibrant, tranquil, and endlessly captivating. The villa itself is equally impressive, with a warm wooden chalet vibe. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities you’d need, including a fridge, plenty of sockets, and cosy furnishings. It felt like a luxurious home away from home. The attention to detail here was exceptional. Having stayed in several five-star hotels, I can confidently say this villa meets, if not exceeds, that standard. The staff deserve special mention – they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. They arranged everything for us, from TukTuks to local tours, and even went above and beyond to make my 30th birthday celebration extra special, complete with personalised touches. The pool was another highlight – beautifully maintained, it was the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring. And the food? Simply sublime. Dining in their charming greenhouse-style restaurant, surrounded by the garden’s lush greenery, was an experience in itself. Each meal was a delight, made even better by the panoramic views. In short, everything about this place was exceptional. If you’re looking for a blend of luxury, nature, and outstanding hospitality, this is it. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Amazing location in green area. We spotted several animals while just sitting on the balcony (including monkeys, peacocks and kingfisher). The owners are very friendly and helpful, they made our stay very comfortable.
