What a wonderful place and a great adventure. We love the location, the little house is super clean, no mosquitoes and the best natural swimming pool. The food is amazing and the owners very sweet and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it to the moon and back. Highly recommended. Also the organized guided tours delivered more than we could hope for.

Our experience at the Rainforest Nest was absolutely wonderful, thanks to incredible hosts Saman and Umesha. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and their kindness and care shone throughout our stay. Saman took us on an unforgettable day exploring the rainforest - his deep knowledge of the area’s flora and fauna made the experience truly special, and we learned so much. The setting of the Rainforest Nest is breathtaking – peaceful, serene, and surrounded by nature. If you have the time, enjoy relaxing on the balcony and taking in the surroundings and watching the birdlife. Umesha’s delicious home-cooked meal was another highlight. And they even helped us arrange a taxi to Ella. A special mention to their young son, Arjun, the best tuk-tuk driver in the area! Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in a stunning location with exceptional hosts. We only regret not booking a longer stay. Thank you!

Where to start? Hemal is such a such a kind guy and the best host you can imagine. It’s a new hotel so I was happy to be the first client. The hotel is at the entrance of the park and besides the great and spacious rooms as well as great food made by his wife, Hemal is an awesome forst guide that spots animals from a distance away! I did both the night tour seeing loris, scorpions, deer and snakes etc. (be silent while he’s spotting) as well as day tour with a.o. endangered monkeys and a beautiful waterfall. Also, from the terraces you can spot a lot of peacocks and other birds in the front of the stay. He also helped me arrange a taxi a good price back. 200% worth the visit!

Our stay at Aadiv Twin Villas was the absolute highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. The hotel is beautiful and full of charm, located in one of the most stunning regions we visited. The Location is very beautiful, situated in the jungle in a small village. The family was incredibly kind and made our stay feel like home. We had delicious homemade, traditional dinner and breakfast. The house is close to the entrance to Sinharaja Forest and they recommended us a great Guide who spotted lots of animals and showed us many ayurverdic healing plants. I can‘t recommend this place enough :)
