I recently had the pleasure of staying at OwinRich during my trip to Godakawela, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. Located just 2 km away from the bustling city center, OwinRich offers the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by the sight of a beautiful outdoor pool, inviting me to unwind and relax. The rooms were spacious and exceptionally comfortable, providing the ideal retreat after a long day of exploration. But what truly stood out was the attention to detail and the incredible value for money. The price I paid was an absolute steal considering the quality of service and amenities offered. One of the highlights of my stay was witnessing the sheer joy on my kids' faces as they splashed around in the pool and explored the hotel grounds. The family-friendly atmosphere of OwinRich made our vacation truly memorable. Moreover, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. They even arranged a safari to Udawalawe National Park for us at the best price possible, allowing us to marvel at Sri Lanka's incredible wildlife. Overall, I can't recommend OwinRich highly enough. Whether you're traveling with family, friends, or solo, this hotel offers everything you could possibly need for a perfect getaway. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Beautiful location, in the middle of the rainforest, you feel like sleeping under the stars and breathing together with nature. The owner and his wife are very very kind, Janith showed and explained a lot of things, animals/herbs, we had a fish pedicure in the waterfall next to our room, and the food was also exceptional, the ingredients coming directly fresh from their garden.

We were a family of five with adult children and had the whole villa for ourselves, and the experience was amazing! The villa is newly built and everything felt brand new but yet very familiar with Ishan heading a super attentive and nice staff. The views are breathtaking over the surrounding mountains, with a small river pond on the property to take a refreshing dip into (together with the small fish givning you a interesting fish spa experience). We just felt blessed staying in this tranquille environment, enjoying excellent food and just hanging out together. It was definitely more than worth the bumpy ride up to this place. Big thanks to Ishan with staff that made this an extraordinary experience.

We've accommodated in hotel sanctuary last week. It was very clean and attractive.The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and well organized.The pool area was fantastic, to have fun.The hotel keeper was very friendly and helpful.The hotel owner was the same. The meals were really delicious.We could enjoy the scenic beauty of rakwana mountains right from the hotel.That accomodation package was very reasonable for the payed price.I recommend this place for people, who are expecting a perfect stay near Rakwana.

Everything was perfect! Friendly staff, tasty food and comfortable room made my stay very relaxing and comfortable. Night trail and Bird watching was very adventurous. Honestly do not have enough words to describe the beauty of the surroundings. Totally would recommend for nature lovers!

The location and it's unrivalled 360 degree panoramic views amidst such verdant backdrop and quiet location one of my best ever in 50 + years of solo cycle touring. Such a unique beautiful calming location. The family who run the hideaway are all attentive, generous and go above and beyond to make sure you have a memorable stay. I was able to swim in the river each day and eat delicious home cooked meals 3 times a day. I had not planned to visit the rainforest or this area of Sri Lanka and I ended up pivoting to find some solace for my final three nights and I'm so glad I did. Thank you to the property owners for looking after me. I'd love to stay again when I return to Sri Lanka.

What a fantastic place! The location is amazing, right next to the rainforest and overlooking beautiful rice paddies. The place is run by a lovely friendly family who went over and above to accommodate us and ensure we had a brilliant stay. The guided tour through the rainforest was fantastic, the guide is very knowledgeable and passionate about the rainforest and its wildlife. The food was delicious and they accommodated us being veggie. They helped us sort a taxi to our next place. Can't fault the place, would definitely return if we come back to Sri Lanka!
