If you are looking for the best hotel to stay for your trip to Wilpattu National Park, this is the place!! We had an amazing 3 nights here. The rooms are clean and big. Property is beautifull, and even has a swimming pool. The food here is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, we ate the same curry three nights in a row because it was so good. But the best part is the family that runs the place. They have the kindest and sweetest souls and really made our stay the best. We would love to come back and would HIGHLY recommend!! And they also have the sweetest dogs.

We wanted to stay in the center of Anuradhapura, but we are so glad we went for Ruwinsons. The price/quality of the stay is unbeatable. The house is gorgeous and the rooms are very spacious with everything you need. The breakfasts are amazing and the garden outside is very pleasant. The distance from Anuradhapura is absolutely not an issue, as there are regular buses to the city centre that only take 15 min. But what absolutely makes the place is the host Palitah. He's one of the kindest and most caring people we met in Sri Lanka. He took us everywhere we wanted to go, as a tourist licensed driver, and arranged our trip to Wilpattu National Park, which was incredible. We cannot recommend this place enough. Any downsides you might see because of the location are absolutely compensated by the comfort of the place and the kindness of Palitah!

Fantastic staff at Subaseth villa they were kind enough to help us with everything we needed for a great stay. Big bedrooms comfortable beds and really great food. It's outside town very peaceful and a lovely place to stay.

We arrived at the hotel around 11 AM, but our room wasn't ready at that time. However, the staff courteously showed us a similar room to help us get familiar with the layout. From check-in to check-out, the service was exceptional. The reception, housekeeping, and room service teams were all extremely friendly and helpful, making our stay very comfortable. We also had the pleasure of meeting the hotel owner, who was genuinely kind and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. His personal attention and commitment to guest satisfaction stood out. The only area for improvement would be the food options. The hotel currently doesn’t offer a breakfast or lunch buffet, which might be something to consider adding in the future. That said, the hotel itself is spotless, well-maintained, and overall, a highly recommendable place to stay. We would definitely return!

Beautiful location, a little off the beaten track. Rooms very big and the bed so comfortable. Staff were really lovely and the food amazing. We stayed an extra night. There is a lovely pool too. Comms via whats app was great and really responsive

Don't understand the bad reviews. You get what you pay and for this price you get a big clean room, what do you need more? Good location to start the trip in the nationalpark. Can recommend it 👌

Great staff, nice facilities and good food. If you want to explore the tempels and sights ask for Lalith at the reception or text him on +94 77 795 1719 Best tourguide, he will tuktuk you around whole day and explain everyting about budism and the history. It was really nice stay there
