The location, quality of the rooms and bathroom. The staff were all brilliant. We really enjoyed the safari organised by the hotel, it was good value and well worth paying a little extra for the guide. Also enjoyed the boat ride on the lake next to the properly.

Mayka is a lovely host! She and her husband organised an amazing safari for us and were really helpful and accommodating.

stayed one night on the way to Ella. everything was fine, a nice room, a beautiful sunny courtyard with monkeys, in the morning the owner fed me breakfast. In other words, I had a great time. the owner has recently taken up the villa, he works in a car service nearby, behind the house there are fields and nature

The welcome by Mithi and her husband was warm and friendly. The bedroom was amply large enough to accommodate two women with big suitcases and it had plenty of towels and amenities. We loved the huge terrace overlooking the river. It was quiet at night and it was nice to have aircon and fan. It was all clean and modern. Although in a quiet spot it’s not far from a town if you need anything. Also the delicious passion fruit drink Mithi brought us was wonderful. The shower was nice and hot with good water pressure.

We stayed at the new Villa. That was perfect for family since it’s huge two story villa and has a private pool. Initially I was bit nervous because there were almost no information about this villa. But we recognized that’s because this facility opened in the end of this month (Dec. 2024). Once my family arrived at this villa, we were immediately fascinated by this villa and great hospitality of the staff. I can recommend this although the gramping camp sites should be also good. In addition, location is good. We can enjoy game safaris for both Yala National Park and Udawalawe National Park since it’s located between both national parks. Finally, I was very satisfied with the email communication with Ms. Sonali Lowe (Manager - Sales & Reservations) prior to our stay, as it was both prompt and precise.

Amazing place to stay! Staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. As soon as we arrived we were given flowers and welcome drinks which was really special. We stayed for two nights and ate dinner in the restaurant which was lovely, very fresh and at an excellent price. Pool is big and clean. I would definitely recommend staying here, excellent value for money!
