The Host and his family are very nice and helpful. He already has experience since he worked in hotels before. The room is the best we had in Sri Lanka so far. It‘s very clean, the bathroom is big and modern and the location is right next to the beach. There are a lot of restaurants and bars right next to the apartment, which all have a really nice vibe. Also, the main bus station is only a 5 minute walk, so perfect for travelers. Although we only stayed 1 night we had a really good time here and wish all the best to the host :)

The hotel is new, very nice and comfortable. Practically inside the oraia, but protected by vegetation, which does not ruin the harmony of the beach landscape. The owner of the hotel, an English gentleman, is very friendly and concerned about providing us with an excellent stay. The hotel staff is very friendly, the cocktails are very good and the hotel is quiet. But the best thing is the beach, huge, clean, beautiful, practically only for hotel guests

I spent 3 weeks with friends travelling around sri lanka and this was my favourite accommodation! The staff were so attentive from the moment we arrived at the resort! The room was spotless,spacious and was such a lovely place to chill out! We had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and the lagoon which was beautiful! It was the little details that were so lovely like fresh towels left for us by the pool and we were given fresh coconuts to drink while lounging at the pool one day! The food was really good! I would highly recommend this if you are travelling to tangalle!

The cabana we stayed in was very cute and situated so close to the beach that we could hear the waves as we fell asleep. The staff were very friendly and the property was well maintained. We were only scheduled to stay one night, but we changed our booking after we arrived so we could have an extra night.

What a gem of a place. Unbeatable views from the room, quiet, peaceful and fully relaxing. Staff is really helpful and friendly. Chef cooked up some serious dishes that were really delicious and of course - they make pizza! Room is so cozy, both the bathroom and the room had perfect natural lightning. Bed is comfy and big. Our stay in the Igabara hobbit house has been nothing short of magical!!!! The owner, Hirushan, is so lovely, attentive and happy to help with anything you might need. The room, including the private courtyard (with outdoor table & chairs, a hammock & outdoor shower) is absolutely perfect, I wouldn’t change a thing. The bed is big and comfortable, free coffee/tea/snacks and some refreshments in the minibar, Netflix on the TV, everything you could need in the bathroom, great shower pressure & working hot water, not to mention the attention to detail, there is so much character to this accommodation. We also had the included breakfast and added on a dinner here, cooked by Hirushan’s mum, the food was impeccable, we had grilled prawns, rice and curry, then some fruit and ice cream for dessert, Hirushan lit some candles and while we were eating there were fireflies right behind us (which just added to all the magic) I have loved every second here and am sad to leave. ❤️

Wow, what a truly wonderful stay at Simply Peace. The accommodation is fabulous, beautiful bungalows, pool, well equipped gym and great bar and restaurant area. But what really made this stay so memorable was the staff. I can’t praise them enough they were simply incredible. Special mention to the general manager, the boys working in the bar and a wonderful driver we had. We felt so welcome and well looked after. Food is simple and fresh and we had delicious cocktails each evening. We also had two wonderful massages. We can’t wait to come back soon to this haven on the lagoon!
