We have just enjoyed 3 nights at this absolutely wonderful hotel. From start to finish, the service was 5* we were greeted with a Hindu tradition, which was special. Thank you Moheshi (inthinknthis was her name) All members of staff took the time to talk to us and get to know us with genuine interest. Including Emran at reception. The pool attendent was a great man, and we enjoyed talking with him. Special mention to Roshan in the restaurant who really tried to ensure we enjoyed our breakfast and make indian tea the way we like it. ( Breakfast) was honestly a feast on days when there were fewer guests we had a la carte. The hotel itself has wonderful touches. Everything is brand new and so untouched. The towels and linen were immaculate, and everywhere was clean. The gym was well equipped, and the swimming pool was beautiful with a stunning view of the sea. Our room was spacious, we loved the outdoor terrace. The grounds are well kept and constantly maintained. We would love to come back when the sea is calmer to enjoy the beautiful ocean. Thank you for making our stay memorable. ( we considered staying a few more nights, but the rain was relentless)

We were their first guests. The staff is super friendly and they always wanted to help us with arranging a snorkeling tour or other plans. The rooms are very clean and the bathroom too ! They have a very nice balcony for chilling that they will convert to a dining area later. I would definitely recommend this place !!

outstanding staff!!! Every single one (from reception, to kitchen and housekeeping) was soo friendly and attentive. THANK YOU again. Food was AMAZING<3 The Beach was cleaned every morning and sunbeds and chairs were provided. Water just super nice and clear. Waking up to the sunrise behind the panorama window.. priceless! The bed was probably the most comfortable we've had in Sri Lanka. The owners are very gentle and kind and the staff are excellent. We had the top level room facing the ocean and it was excellent. The breakfast was very delicious and filling. The owners feed the local dogs and so they hang around the front gate. Intially we were a bit unsure but the dogs were actually super friendly and act as security 🤣 and they don't go into the house. What they do for the street dogs is amazing as we have seen many strays in Sri Lanka and this is the first time we have seen them being so kindly looked after.

The pool was huge and well-maintained and the water was super clean. The room was clean, spacious, bad was comfy and the bathroom had a walk in shower. The stuff was very friendly and keep the whole place very well-maintained. Highly recommended!

    This location was absolutely beautiful.

    This location was absolutely beautiful. There's lots to see and do and 3 nights wasn't enough to fully enjoy the setting. Yes you can spend time at the beach and go snorkeling, but you can also visit the Thiruskoneswaram temple and eat delicious food on Sarvodaya Road. We highly recommend Rice 'n' Curry Restaurant. As well as The White House for Accommodation and Rangan Snorkeling

    Trincomalee is a beautiful beach town, the beaches are amazing, lots of cultural things to do if you want, as well as lots of relaxation. Some great restaurants on the beach and in the town. The only draw back is it takes quite along time to get to (depending on where you are coming from) but that is the same across most of Sri Lanka

    We absolutely love this area, by far one of the best places in Sri Lanka. After travelling around the island, we decided just to completely chill and not check out the other beaches. We will definitely go back again and check out a few of the other beaches along that coastline. Food is fantastic and the people are very friendly! When we read up about the island, they said that this was the less developed area, but as far as I could see it was the same as most other places. Definitely has everything you need and one of the best places to completely unwind.

    I went to Trincomalee for a family occasion, so I didnt have so much time to explore the area. I found a lovely beach not far away from J7 Villaj Resort and I got the imperssion, there are not so many tourist in the area. There is a lot of activities around Trincomalee, if you like wateractivities, you find them on internet, what to do in Trincomalee...... There are local restaurants serving fresh seafood - from sea daily. Its easy to find a tuktuk or use the app pickme (works in all Sri Lanka). I wish I had more time in Trincomalee after I found the beach, but for sure I will go back and stay there for a longer period. Just take the night train from Colombo (from 11 Eur - first class) or reverse. Its a good place to relax and finish your trip after exploring historical places Sri Lanka.

    Visited Fort Fredrick, The navel base and the town. Deer park in town is a lovely place to come really close to lots of deer in an open setting and feed them too! Free to enter just bought some feed to make friends with the deer!

    I wanted to go to Trincomalee for personal reasons but also...

    I wanted to go to Trincomalee for personal reasons but also because the beach and the hotel looked good. If you want only a beach holiday, then it’s great but if you want to sightsee, you might enjoy central Sri Lanka a bit more. We loved the chance to see a local community. We enjoyed the hotel, so could have stayed a night or two longer but we like Sri Lanka for its rich history and sight seeing opportunities too.

    Amazing beach, you cannot fault this place for its beautiful beach location! Crystal clear blue waters. Brand new outdoor lounge chairs when we arrived. Breakfast was fabulous you can have Sri Lankan or western style no problem. Staff were super friendly and helped you with everything. Easy walk into the Trincomalee beach and shops. Highly recommend this place.

    It was so nice to stay there. The distance between the beach and my room was about 1 1/2 minutes walk! The best thing was I could go back even at midnight because it was 150 meters walk! The hotel area is so safe, the staff is very nice and helpful and you can talk with them if you want. It is the best area in Trincomalee to sleep in!
