From the moment we arrived at Hotelito, we felt completely at home. Pato welcomed us with a big smile and a warm heart, and his amazing dog Brownie stayed by our side and made us happy all the time ❤️ Our room was clean and comfortable, with a great air conditioner, hot shower, and a comfy firm mattress. Every morning, Pato prepared a lovely breakfast with a plate of fresh fruits, eggs, and coffee – the perfect way to start the day 🥰 What really made our stay special was Pato’s kindness and care. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We honestly felt like we had a dad in Sri Lanka 💛 Don’t miss Pato’s amazing pizzas that he makes every week in Mirissa – they’re delicious! Afterward, he even took us to a local party, which turned out to be one of the most fun nights we had in Weligama 😄 Highly recommended! A homey, warm, and wonderful experience – great value for money 😇

I had a wonderful stay at River Post! Even got upgraded to a more spacious room. The Internet was fast, the bed comfortable, and the aircon a blessing. Manoj and Janith were very welcoming and helpful. They helped me get a motorbike for a decent price, and even connected me to a neighbor with a sowing machine when I needed a piece of clothing to fix :)

Villa Hillcrest was such a fantastic place to stay! The location is perfect—tucked away in a peaceful spot but still super close to the beach and everything Weligama has to offer. Waking up to those gorgeous views was the best way to start the day. The breakfast was a real treat—so fresh and delicious, with plenty of options to keep us fueled for the day. The hosts were incredibly kind and made sure we had everything we needed to feel right at home. Would 100% recommend Villa Hillcrest to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Weligama. We were there 4 nights during off season.

We were there 4 nights during off season. There is not much to do there in July. Especially with kids. Since the sea was to rough to swim in! Lots of wind and felt a bit like a ghost town to us. Every restaurant we went to we were the only ones! I think 2 nights would have been more than enough

Fortunately the place is not in the city of Wellgama which is bery busy, crowdy and noisy city. We resigned from spending more time in the city after 1h walk trying to find a nice area like caffees/restaurants or local small shops where you can buy some hand made staff etc.

Well architectures home on the coast of Weligama beach. Waking up to a morning sunrise and watching the sunset over dinner made this property an absolute highlight. The beach at your doorstep for a quick afternoon dip and relaxing by the pool in the evening. Staff were extremely welcoming and attentive and the property had all the modern necessities. Loads of recommendation for eating out and best tourist stop in Weligama was helpful. Definitely heading back here for my next visit to Sri Lanka!!!
