Amazing hotel, rooms and pool are better than in pictures. The safari offered by the hotel was very competitive in price and good experience, everything easy and arranged by them. Food was also very good. We recommend to have dinner there. But one of best things was Shuresh, who looked after us the whole time and made sure we were having the best time. In general all the staff was superb (thanks to Hemal Surnga too!). The hotel is worth it to spend more than one night to enjoy, specially if you plan to do a safari.

The staff was going above and beyond to help with everything and is welcoming. The restaurant meals are tasty. They organise a nice private safari experience - we did the morning one and even got a packed breakfast with us. The room is clean, AC works well, hot water works but takes time to warm. Don’t forget mosquito repellent for the outdoor areas.

Amazing stay at this unique place. Astonishing View. The food was extraordinary. A little expensive, but incredible Barbecue. Our stay was nothing short of exceptional, with every detail meticulously taken care of. This place is amazing.

This place is amazing. We stay with our 3 young kids and the staff were so kind and attentive. All of the small details have been thought of and it’s a wonderful experience in nature. Lovely local Sri Lankan are served for each meal.

It definitely is an experience worth trying.

It definitely is an experience worth trying. The tree house has all the comforts you need but yet kept on the simple side. Don't expect much and you will get a lot. Nice food Bbq and big fire lit for you in the evening to give you a chance to relax and talk about your day activities. It was great to be left alone and the silence of the night. There were times you just felt that we were the only ones there and when you needed something the staff would magically appear

too many jeeps roaming around. 50% of the time we were searching for animals. at some occasions long long jams of jeeps trying to observe leopards and bears the park is beutiful but * jeeps number should be limited * we didnt see a leopard, saw elephants only once, saw a bear briefly only once - for 6 hours in the park we were disappointed

We visited Yala for two days (with two separate game drives...

We visited Yala for two days (with two separate game drives - one evening and one morning one) and although we enjoyed the animals we observed, we did not have any sightings of leopards despite being the national park with the highest concentration in the world. But that is nature so we were just unlucky on those days. However, the most disappointing aspect of Yala was the sheer number of vehicles allowed into the park at one time. As soon as elephants or leopards are sighted, drivers communicate among themselves and vehicles all rush to the scene creating a massive traffic jams. This makes it feel very mass market and doesn’t seem very respectful of the wildlife

Terrible time. No wild animals as expected. Roads are all around the jungle which is pretty disturbing to the wild life. After all it is supposed to be a protected zone for wild life. Jeeps are crawling every corner of the territory. Amused to see all of that disturbing scenes in a wild life protected zone. It's like business zone. Poor animals.

I loved Yala.

I loved Yala. The number of different animals seen was slightly disappointing but apparently wash outs due to rain prevented us from accessing some internal roads. The sunrise and scenery were stunning. I would rate it as good value despite the lack of animals. The whole experience was wonderful.

I had a wonderful experience at Tribe. Every staff member I encountered, from the head of F&B Bandara, Akram Hasha to our ranger dinesh and the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Food was exceptional and fitted in our requests promptly. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Yala.

The best thing about the hotel is definitely the location, something like 20 min from Yala National Park gate, but it's like being in the park itself. You can have your own little safari just walking around the small lake near the swimming pool. The food was really good, considering how many people they cater on average. The rooms were spacious, clean and very silent. :)

Beautiful hotel room - the biggest and cleanest we stayed in during our trip. Lovely pool area to relax by before safari and lovely place to sit and have dinner - enjoyed the bonfire surprise that the staff did for us all after dinner too. Delicious food! Great location for Yala national park :)

Perfect family-run hotel. Close to Yala National Park and a beautiful, wild beach (not for swimming). Food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice large bedrooms with beautiful views. Very flexible with breakfast arrangements to accommodate our early morning safari.
