Sukomala is a hidden gem situated in a Sri Lankan village. We experienced amazing flora and fauna at the beautiful tropical garden! When you arrive at this villa it feels like you do not want to leave. The staff was great helped us out in every possible way! And the Sri Lankan breakfast was so scrumptious and filling plus we got a lovely plate of tropical fruits in the morning. Architecture of the villa is carefully planned that gives such a pleasant local feel, very tastefully designed interiors with cozy beds. The pool side was so nice in the night. We will definitely recommend Sukomala villa to anyone who would want to experience true Sri Lankan hospitality!

The house is on a very nice place. The rooms are spacious. It was very clean and comfortable. The pool was perfectly clean. We have invited a local chef to cook for us traditional meals for dinner who used the kitchen of the house that was well-equipped.

The level of care and attention from the staff was impeccable—they were well-trained, friendly, and attentive to our every need. It’s evident that they take pride in making every guest feel at home, and it truly elevated our experience. On top of all this, the accommodations themselves were outstanding. The rooms were spotless and beautifully furnished, creating a space that was both elegant and inviting. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience that made us feel completely rejuvenated. This is by far the best accommodation we’ve had in all our travels across Asia. I recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to Galle, you won’t regret it. And as for us, this has become a must-visit destination, and we’ll definitely be returning whenever we’re back in Galle.

I loved everything about this property. Super clean, stylish, in a great location, easy walk to Kabalana beach. I felt safe and comfortable staying here! There is a really cool, fun vibe about this place! The pool and lounge areas by the pool was amazing ! Breakfast - also amazing. I am already planning my return to this amazing hotel!

Wonderful staff, all very helpful and nice. The hotel itself is gorgeous. Comfort very high, pool very nice. The chef is great and interacts with the guest as well which we liked. Close to the beach but still on a calmer road.
