Location is perfect if you move by car and have main activities in Sigulda, around 20 minutes from there to the cottage thats near tiny but really nice river. Cottage is really cozy and warm even when outside was around -23c celsius. Owner was really kind and showed us around. Sauna was warm and there was plenty of firewood to keep sauna + fireplace active whole stay. Would be nice to visit the place also in summer as place offers really nice stay next to the river including fireplace and barbeque but was really nice even at winter. Basically you could go there empty handed and this spot has everything you need for a great stay. Thank you, hope cottages like yours will have fair amount of great customers! 10+

This is certainly not a place for everyone: A wooden traditional house located in the pristine nature accessible only by unpaved road. When one looks for a quiet location in the wilderness this should not dissapoint. The house is located near small pond and surrounded by forest. By night we were hearing cranes and dears occasionally paied visit to us. The host is really nice, all the day around but far from being obtrusive, suplying us by wood and fresh birch branches for sauna. The place is simple (including beds) but spacious.

Perfect place, very beautiful and authentic. It was so quite and peacful that at times felt like we were alone in the whole manor.

The hotel is so close to the train station and city center. There are restaurants and supermarkets around. The hotel rooms are very comfortable and clean. It is the second time I have been staying here. Totally recommended.

Great location- walking distance from everything. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the cable car. Lovely restaurant and comfortable, well-equipped room.
