This was probably the best place my family and I have ever stayed. It was so romantic and atmospheric it had a dreamlike or filmic quality about it (which is apt because I was told by a guide who took us around the ruins of the ruins of the fortified village that it had been used as a set for films starring Brad Pitt, George Cluney, and various others!) Mustapha is an amazing person, a true hero to have rebuilt this historic Kasbah with his own hands over years. The palmerie and views are second to none, and the breakfast, hospitality and food were amazing. Next time we will stay longer.

There was really good vibe at the place, the staff were really nice and in good spirits. The food was plentiful and good. The room was warm, since we were there in the winter. The sheets and blankets were fresh and the beds were comfortable.

I would rate this experience more if possible. First of all the village itself was magical, very calm and charming. The place we stayed was beautiful with a gorgeous view at the palmery. All very clean and cosy. Last but not least we had the best welcome ever. Ismael was a fantastic guide who showed us the Kasbah and all historical buildings sharing with very much details historic highlights of the place and much more. His exquisite company made us feel home. I wish we could stay longer. 100% the pic of our trip to Morocco. Thank you for everything!!!

An absolutely wonderful stay perfectly located halfway our trip from Marrakesh to M'Hamid El Ghizlane. Great for anyone looking for something off the beaten track and, quite literally, a calm oasis. This was most definitely the most beautiful place we stayed at during our trip. Delicious food, served in the beautiful courtyard, fantastic and eco-conscious hospitality, and a refreshing swimming pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and walk through the palmeraie. A fairly large town with plenty of activity.

A fairly large town with plenty of activity. It was very hot as we went in August, so we couldn't visit much, but in the late afternoon we took a walk through the palm grove and enjoyed the views of the mountains surrounding Aged, and it was very beautiful.

The guesthouse is very charmingly decorated, and the garden...

The guesthouse is very charmingly decorated, and the garden is truly beautiful. In the afternoon, all the relatives were visiting, so the best spots in the garden were unavailable. Agdz itself is a dusty little town, and you won't miss anything if you don't visit it.

It's a good base from which to explore the Draa Valley.

It's a good base from which to explore the Draa Valley. The village itself isn't much to look at, except on market day, Thursday, when it gets quite lively. In the surrounding area, you can visit several kasbahs and natural areas.

It's a place you'll pass through, whether you're going to...

It's a place you'll pass through, whether you're going to Zagora or Merzouga. Tamnouglat is nearby. I recommend the place where I stayed (Les Chantiers des Palmiers) because it's secluded from the village, peaceful, and feels like home, which is much appreciated after so many hours of travel. The village itself is quiet, with a bit of activity after sunset.

The location in the old village and the quality of the accommodation. Ismael also showed us around the old town and nearby Agdz as well as helped us organise dinner in the old Kasbah. It was the best stop in our Morocco trip. Would recommend anyone to stay here but unlike us make it more than one night

Beautiful hotel, stunning, serene location. Very traditional beber style building and decor, but no sacrifice on comfort or on quality of bathrooms and WiFi. The guy that owns it is incrediably welcoming and the breakfast and finner were delicious.
