Fatima and her family are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed mint tea and homemade biscuits in their garden and a sumptuous meal in the evening.

Kasbah Gite D’etape Gorges De Ziz is located in Achbaro. Achbaro a tiny village, 5 hours south of Fes. It is a great place to overnight to break the long trip from the Sahara Desert to Fes or Meknes. Ali, the owner and manager of the kasbah, cooked us a very tasty chicken & vegetables tajine for dinner. After an excellent breakfast, Ali sent us on our way with a bag full of delicious dates from the local palmeraie.

If you are looking for something traditional in a beautiful setting then look no further. A lovely warm welcome and made to feel at home. The evening meal was the best I have had in Morocco.

Outside of bitten track, this place allows you to see original Ksar, Kasba, and ruined French Fort without other tourists. Sounds too good to be true? When everyone is just passing by to Sahara, spending longer here allows ultimate experience. Zechariah will help and point you in the right direction. Highly recommended. Dar Jamila is one of many authentic places in area, clean, comfortable, and so, but location makes it unusual.

Very convenient place in the good location , we have travelled on motorbikes, the parkong was exactelly next to our room in closed area. The accomodation was very good equiped by AC, windows shading system etc. There were wifi, quite durring night and good restaurant. Very helpful familiar staff spek fluently english.

The room was spotlessly clean and the bedroom a very generous size. The caretaker was kind enough to start the AC in my bedroom one hour prior to my arrival, which in this heat was immensely appreciated.
