Everything was perfect, after a not very good experience with a property in Chefchaouen we were very happy Casa Bahia was above our expectations. Walking distance to the center and the beach, easy to park in front of the property and quite street. The bed was firm (as we like) and comfortable, the climate control warmed up the room in no time, everything very clean and breakfast was very good. And the most important, everyone was incredibly helpful, friendly and warm. They even printed our boarding passes (on 1st of January everything was closed) otherwise it would have given us a lot of trouble to check in Fes Airport. We will be back for sure!

This was an excellent location for us. 10-minute walk to the train, a two-minute walk to the beach and cafes's and stores, and about 15 minutes to the Medina and a million restaurants (although closer restaurants as well) banks, and pedestrian walkways. We were welcomed warmly and even given an upgraded room since they were available and we decided to stay for five nights instead of the original three. The decor is beautiful and we experienced the most spectacular sunset we have ever witnessed from the roof-top sitting area.

Very pleasant and attentive staff who loaned us beach towels and got us a reasonably priced taxi ride to the airport. The room was quiet and beautifully decorated (although the beds were rather hard). I appreciated the many electrical outlets and the Kleenex box. Staff seems fully fluent in English, Spanish, and French. The staff clearly takes a lot of pride in the property.

We absolutely loved our stay at Riad Dar El Maq – it truly felt like a hidden gem in the heart of the medina. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm of the riad. It's beautifully restored with so much attention to detail, blending traditional Moroccan design with all the comforts you need. The rooftop terrace was definitely the highlight – the view of the ocean was breathtaking, especially at sunset. We spent every evening up there just soaking it all in.
