Great little town where you can stock up on food, souvenirs and get petrol. Locals are super friendly and laid back and things that we bought at the market were definitely cheaper than we found in Taroudant. Hiking must be awesome but we didn't have enough time. You will have to drive 250km from Agadir on winding roads and dirt paths to get there. With very few tourists, lovely small restaurants Places of interes are ,Les Roches Bleues. These “Blue Rocks” are undoubtedly one of Tafraoute’s most iconic symbols. Painted in 1984 by Belgian artist Jean Verame. La Tete du Lion. This rock formation, which translates into English as “The Lion’s Head”, is located on top of a boulder on the Tafraoute Valley Mountain. Ait Mansour Gorge. Thirty kilometers from Tafraoute, the incredible Ait Mansour Gorge is located in the heart of the Anti-Atlas Mountains and is considered one of Morocco’s finest oases.Guest review byCarole A - 10.0

We ate at the restaurant La Kasbah which was wonderful and very good value. There are hikes, bouldering, climbing, and cycling opportunities all around. Lovely rooftop terrace we hung out there a lot and the hotel owner let us use the kitchen which had a hob and fridge which was super helpful. Rooms are very nice. Has a proper shower, hot during the day and early evening, cold later at night.
