We had a great stay at the Hotel A44. The hotel were quick to respond to a couple of questions we had before arrival and they accommodated our special request. The rooms at the front overlook the main road and the airport which we loved! McDonalds is just across the road, and there are several restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel too. Breakfast was a very varied and wide choice, the room was spacious and immaculately clean, with plenty of storage, and the shower was very powerful. We got a taxi to the hotel when we arrived at a fixed cost of €10, but we walked on our return to the airport, over the road through McDonalds and it's only about a 10 minute walk to the airport. We will return to Tétouan, and we will stay here again without a doubt.

Moussa at reception was friendly and professional. He suggested really nice restaurant opposite to children play area for our daughter. He is star of this hotel. Security man was always helpful. All of their staff is very polite. Location was good too. Great for families. Highly recommended.

This riad is brand new. It has opened in July 2024. Very nice place. The location is in the heart of the medina. The room is very clean, everything was new. Aymen and Mohammed, the owners, are very kind and very helpful. We felt very safe in this place. Thank you for your help !! We will come back for sure if we are in Tetouan again :)

I visited Tetouan for personal reasons opposed to a holiday and required only a room and base from which I could travel and carry out my tasks. This location was perfect for my needs. The property was very clean, equipped with a functioning shared kitchen, and several shared toilets/shower rooms that were finished to a very high standard. The room itself was very clean and had all that I required. Whilst the room did not have air-conditioning there was a portable electric fan which was a great addition and kept me cool (during summer). I was provided with fresh towels on request and the staff were extremely kind, with each new staff member offering their help and friendly service. The premises is situated just off a main road, which has several shops, cafes, take-aways, restaurants and a Mosque. This road also offers guests the opportunity to flag down taxis into the city centre, which is only 5-10 minutes away and cost less than 20MD (2 euro). As a fit and able person, it took me about 25-30 minutes to walk into town too. On the same street as the hotel I noticed several shops where I could buy groceries, and also a gym. A special mention to Nabil who contacted me prior to my flight to arrange a taxi from the airport to the venue. This cost 100MD (10 euros). Upon arrival at the airport the taxi driver was waiting for me outside. Nabil was also very helpful again as he arranged my taxi from the hotel to the airport. The taxi was required early hours (530am) and so the cost was 150MD (15 euros). Whilst locally people would say these prices are a little high, in Europe they are standard and allowed me to make my flight early without the stress of finding a yellow cab in the early hours of the morning. Since digital boarding passes can not be used in the Tetouan airport, due to lack of technology, Nabil helped me once more by printing my boarding pass for me and passing it to the taxi driver, who presented it to me upon my collection.

Tetouan has several museums well worth visiting.

Tetouan has several museums well worth visiting. The old medina is an experience in its own right, alleys opening in to small squares on which sit cafes to take a coffee or mint tea. The people of Tetouan are kind, helpful and accommodating to those visiting their city.

This is our first visit to the city of Tétouan . It’s a beautiful place to visit and a lot of places to visit Martel The old city Al finadiq Septa Chefchaouen Very nice Cafes and Restaurants and Beaches

Very hilly but taxis very cheap.

Very hilly but taxis very cheap. Not a place for those who have walking problems. The day starts slowly and quiet until about 1pm when streets become very busy and a bit claustrophobic. A trip to the Beach at Martil definitely worth it. If you can take public transport/shared taxis to sights as it is so inexpensive. A 1 hour plus trip in a luxury coach to the Blue City cost just over 5 euros for two adults (seniors). Definitely worth a visit to see a more real Morocco but if you want the touristy vibe head to Marrakech .

We drove all across Morocco, from Marrakech to Merzouga and...

We drove all across Morocco, from Marrakech to Merzouga and then north up to Tangier. I must say Tetuan was the less touristic city in all our trip from our point of view. What was really good was shopping. We managed to get lots of things at very affordable prices (much cheaper than other cities in Morocco).

Enjoyed the more traditional Moroccan market, a market that isn't focused on tourists. Tetouan is situated in a beautiful mountain valley and the Spanash/Moroccan architecture in the old town make it an interesting city to explore. I would have liked more time to explore the area.

Tetouan is a quiet, less touristy city with a Spanish...

Tetouan is a quiet, less touristy city with a Spanish influence in its architecture. It’s about 1h15 from Chefchaouen by bus and Grand taxis take you up the coast to M’diq of which the beach boardwalk is the highlight. People are friendly and helpful but beware of men trying to take you to the Berber markets as they only want to sell you carpets!

This is the best place to stay in Tetouan! What a work of art the interior design is. The staff were absolutely gorgeous and went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. Bed super comfortable, breakfast-local and delicious. The room spacious and clean. The location of this riad too is perfect. Right in the medina where you want to be. The experience we had in Tetouan overall was a dream. A little secret of Morocco I think.

This Riad was the best we stayed during our vacation in Morocco. The architecture and interior of the building are very beautiful. It is located in the heart of old Medina. The personnel was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The room was very nice, clean and with electric heating. There is a parking right under the main square, near to the Riad. Unfortunately we stayed only one night.

It is in a good location in the old medina and has a lovely view of mountains/city. It is peaceful. It is recently opened and has new furniture. Marawan is a traveller and is a nice guy. He offers more insight than the average host in Morocco. He can send you a video by whatsapp to find the place.
