Beautiful property, beautiful gardens, the pool sits on such a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the ocean view. The room had an amazing view, loved the sitting area and bathroom set-up. Enjoyed sitting in bed with the shutters open to enjoy the amazing view. The food was excellent, very good chef. Very relaxing and beautiful lodge. Very nice staff, all of them.

This is a wonderful hotel with a school in it and a young, polite, friendly, English-speaking staff. They were super nice, the view was gorgeous and they came an hour before every meal to let me know what they would be serving. I was ill after a week in Madagascar and this was a great place to end my time. There was a chido cyclone at last day, which they warned me about and were super helpful. I will remember this place very fondly and will definitely recommend it. I hope to return one day and see more of it.

Breakfast and all meals were Amazing. Staff were incredible, kind and warm hearted. The attention to detail in the upkeep of the property was amazing. I've rarely found a better managed place. We saw lemurs every day, as well as Chameleons and other animals. They also have a wonderful pool and an incredible garden.

Tropical paradise. The resort is accessible only by boat and up against a national park with lots of lemurs. We were there for five days, four nights in a beachfront bungalow with private facilities. Sun lounges under coconut palms. Local seafood at the restaurant. Hardly any other guests. Affordable for budget travelers.

A breathtaking panorama, surrounded by greenery and tranquility, located in a strategic area, not far from the nightlife and not far from the most beautiful beaches of Nosybe. It was one of the best stays I have had. Exceptional staff, kind and caring, where I also had the opportunity to make beautiful friendships. The cleanliness and management were impeccable. Before arrival Valerie the owner assisted us with all our transfers ensuring everything ran smoothly. Upon arrival our bags were carried up for us and we were greeted with warm smiles and deliciously cold welcome drinks. Treated like rock stars. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our bed was beautifully decorated with flowers and a heart shaped towel for our honeymoon. There were even hot showers (not that you need them) but after a week of cold showers it was very pleasant. The food was amazing and overall very good value for money. The Happy Komba team went above and beyond for us. I see why Valerie named it Happy Komba lodge as the staff are all very happy with big smiles always. We will definitely be back.

The owners were exceptional people - good hosts, very attentive. No scamming and very clear on how the stay works and what you should see. We have had really poor experiences in Nosy Be with hotels, however this one saved the day. Clean pool, modern rooms, AC, decent breakfast, fast wifi and attentive hosts. Would definitely stay here again!
