This was the most beautiful holiday we’ve ever had. The accommodation exceeded all our expectations — not only because of the wonderful animals we were surrounded by every day, but because the entire place radiates a unique sense of peace and relaxation that’s hard to describe in words. We were traveling with children, and they absolutely loved every second spent on the farm. They didn’t even want to leave to explore the island — all they cared about was getting back to the farm to play with the animals again! As for the hosts... there are simply no words to describe their kindness and the amazing energy they bring. We felt completely at home — they were incredibly friendly, warm, fun, and full of love. Truly one-of-a-kind people who made our stay unforgettable. We honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. Super hosts, super animals, super energy, super everything! This apartment was fantastic it had everything we needed, really comfy beds lovely bed covers too, everything was spotless! And it was so handy to have kids beach stuff already there too, the owner was very helpful. I also think this had the nicest terrace and beautiful views! We also drove around to the top 3 beaches in malta and I don't think they were a patch on our little pretty bay beach. If we ever go back to malta again I would definitely book this apartment again!

In fact, the apartment looks better in real life than in the picture. Very comfortable, large and bright apartment. Public transport stop -2 minutes, shops, bars, 5 minutes and the beach. Amazing owner! Answered all the questions that arose immediately. Provided a huge amount of useful information. I am impressed. Indeed, it was a super decision to rent this apartment)

Great location: bus stop, shops, and beach are all just a couple of minutes away from the accommodation. The room is spacious and clean, with a very nice terrace. We stayed for 10 days and had everything we needed in the room and in the kitchen. Our flight was in the evening, and the host was very nice to let us stay in the accommodation well beyond the official check-out time.

Not your normal seaside holiday resort. The freeport as a back drop can be a bit of a shock but is soon overlooked. The Village is quaint with ample facilities, but not the place for people looking for nightlife. Lovely. Great time had by all our family.

The town is well situated and easy to access from the...

The town is well situated and easy to access from the airport. Buses are regular, so other parts fo the island are easily accessible. There is a small sandy bay which is great for families. They have life savers, a wheelchair ramp down to the water, water buggy and chair lift for the disabled. There is a wide, modern promenade which includes sporting and exercise facilities, a stage and restaurants dotted around this area. The restaurants hardly offer traditional/typical maltese food (burger, pasta and pizza was the on offer everywhere) and the night life is non existent. The available facilities are not used to their full potentional sadly.

We live on Gozo and carry Malta Resident ID cards but do truly enjoy visiting Birzebbuga two or three times a year , It is close to the Malta International Airport but has a more Maltese feel that many other tourist destinations on the Island. Excellent restaurants, safe beaches and easy access to Valletta and many spectacular historic locations. However if you are reading this with the intent of visiting the Maltese Islands, do also try to visit our own home Island of Gozo, It is very different from Malta,

It's a typical little Maltese town.

It's a typical little Maltese town. We found it interesting watching the cargo ships being loaded. No big supermarkets but lots of little shops. Covo ,Dar is sajjied and District Five restaurants were fine dining but the other restaurants on the beach served excellent quality food.

Birżebbuġa itself is an ok place, nice walks through the...

Birżebbuġa itself is an ok place, nice walks through the park and on the beach and ie you like looking at large container ships unloading cargo, (Pretty bay is a free port) it's the place for you . The only thing I would recommend about Birżebbuġa the warm water of the beach (the beach is full of cigarette buttes and litter) and the public bus leaving Birżebbuġa (it's only 2.50 euro anywhere and you can use the same ticket within 2 hours on any public bus) You may enjoy Birżebbuġa because it has a beach there aren't many sandy beaches in Malta. I do not give Pretty Bay apartments as good a rating as Booking.com it's a lot worse.

The whole island of Malta is not that big, so it doesn't realy matter in which part of island you are located. Birżebbuga is less crowded with tourists and offers long walk along the coast. It has two nice sandy beaches with clear water. There is also a playground on the Pretty bay beach.

Recently refurbished hotel, nice, modern rooms. Tea & coffee making facilities, good shower. The staff were helpful & friendly but seemed overwhelmed when a large group of people checked in at the same time as us. It seems these people were competing in an event which took place on the seafront & closed off parts of the lovely beach & park. We would not have chosen to stay had we known that this was taking place.

Both Birzebbuga and this amazing house were very pleasant surprises to us, as longtime Malta visitors/residents. The town is very close to a few less touristy beaches and to the airport, and it's an enormous house, not a studio at all - complete with balcony, 2 showers and toilets and a spacious living space! And our host was always available for all our little questions.
