I liked the room size and the cleanliness. The staff was really friendly and present in the hotel but not overbearing. They were available for support and queries. They were also very consistent cleaning and offering clean towels which was very much appreciated. I felt comfortable and slept well.

We stayed in a spacious apartment perfect for 7 people, with a large kitchen fully equipped with all amenities, four bathrooms, a big LCD TV, fast internet, and air conditioning in every room. The owner, Luke, was incredibly helpful—anything we needed, like extra towels or blankets, he provided within hours. Although we couldn’t check out late because the apartment was already booked, Luke kindly offered us another apartment free of charge to store our luggage before our trip to the airport. Great service and hospitality—we truly appreciated it!

Casa Rosanna is an absolutely enchanting boutique hotel set in the most beautiful bay. The area is full of charming cafés and wonderful restaurants, each adding to the warm, inviting atmosphere. The breakfast was simply unforgettable — everything my heart could have wished for and more. We stayed in a room with a terrace, and the view over the entire bay was truly breathtaking. It’s a place that stays with you long after you leave.

My partner and I wanted a special retreat to celebrate Valentine's. The place is incredible, all the way from the comfortable and spotless rooms to the beautifully decorated interior, thanks to the incredible artistry of Irene and Marco. They welcomed us with big hearts and made us feel warm and cosy in what felt like our own home. Breakfast was amazing and always well prepared for us (we loved drinking our morning tea on the balcony with the beautiful 'bella vista'). We highly recommend this spot for those in need of a dose of vivid creativity, and for those that want to detox from the daily noise of normal life. Overall experience: 10/10, highly recommended. Beautiful people, beautiful place. Grazie mille Irene and Marco!!!

The apartment was top notch - spotlessly clean, lovely seaview, very comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen. Our host welcomed us on our arrival and provided us with complimentary water and croissants. Despite being in a very central area of Marsascala (close to the bus terminus, shops, pharmacy, playing field and various restaurants), the apartment is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood boasting sea and country views. We really loved our short stay here and we will definitely come back again for a longer stay next time. Highly recommended!

Wonderful apartment - very spacious, clean, perfectly located. Vegetable stand + grocery shop just outside the house. Restaurants at the seafront - 200m. The best ice creams - 300m ;) A lot of parking space. Fabulous balcony - very spacious and a great view. Top quality WIFI. Very helpful apartment owner, always prompt communication. Some food and beverages were available at the check in - super nice surprise. Very important for us specifically: beds with perfect softness (not too soft!) and healthy orthopedic type pillows (!) Great stay overall, probably one of the best locations on the island to travel around sightseeing.

Whilst out of the way of the city the marina area is vibrant and well serviced with bars/restaurants. Pleasant stroll to a decent but small beach with bar/restaurant. Very well served for travel around the island… cheap buses and taxis.

The bay area is lovely and full of cafes and eateries many of which are reasonably priced. Walking round the harbour (right side as you face it from the main bus stop) there are a number of constructed salt pans designed to provide a home for sea life when the tide is out which was really interesting to see. A bit further along was a newly renovated fort, St Thomas Tower, which had an incredibly interesting history focusing on piracy and the corsairs! The only downside to staying in Marsaskala was the extensive work being carried out on the harbour front itself which blocked the lovely view while sitting in the cafes.

If you are looking for a quiet area to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of Malta's more well-known tourist areas, Marsaskala is the ideal choice, being located 10-20 minutes by car from Birgu and Valletta. In the harbour area there are numerous restaurants, bars and pastry shops where you can find both local and international dishes.

Marsakala is a lovely place.

Marsakala is a lovely place. The locals are so friendly and helpful. There is a regular bus services that can take you all over the island. There are plenty of bars and restaurants which offer traditional Maltese food if you wish to try, and also lots of other international cuisines, all of which were lovely.

Enough restaurants to choose.

Enough restaurants to choose. Really nice beaches and very safe circumstansies for a walk in the municipalitiy. Well equiepped shops, kind staff anywhere. Buses are clean and fast, we were satisfied with them. Missing some cultural evenings (e.g. concerts) - our stay was at the end of September. But maybe at main time (June-August) they would be available, please check it. Small town with a very good beaches, they makes us feel happy.

Quiet fishing bay with more locals than tourists. Water is super clean here and safe swimming straight off the rocks. Great beach bars with tasty food and fantastic happy hours. A fabulous array of super high quality restaurants (not cheap). TalFamija and Nargile Lounge were particularly good along with Legends for cocktails.

The reception team was very helpful and always available. Special thanks to Olga and the other lady at reception (unfortunately I didn't get her name but she was from Serbia and when I asked, she recommended a great local restaurant for dinner). Breakfast buffet has plenty to choose from. The location of the hotel is brilliant, everything is closeby, shops, town center, restaurants, bus stops, even the airport is not too far. I would happily return to this hotel when I am in Malta again.

A great find in Marsaskala. Apartment was very clean and well furnished. Location was fantastic, very quiet but within easy reach to the harbour with lovely bars, restaurants and cafes. Everything needed was there to hand. Close to bus stops and bus station to travel around Malta. Also plenty of convenience shops close by for a few bits and pieces.

Great appartment. Exactly as listed. Marsaskala is a quieter town than your main ones but still enough happening to keep you entertained. nice distance away from valletta. would highly recommend. waking up to the view from the apartment and heading down for a swim was amazing.
