It's a very nice hotel, the value for money was really very , very good. The room was fully equiped; the fridge, water pot, tea, coffee was inside the room. Spacy cupboards, comfortable bathroom, Good restaurants are around, the sea is literally 2 minutes away. The place is very clean, the rooms were bigger than I expected for this price. The staff was very helpfull, our stay was extended (late check out) with no additional payments (it was possible: out of season), which I really appreciate. The breakfest correct, I would be happy to have a bit more fruits (but the hot egs + hot tomatoes: delicious)

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The accommodation was excellent – clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is perfect, with easy access to everything you might needed. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with a smile. Breakfast was a delicious and something for everyone to enjoy. The pool was also spotless and a great place to unwind. Overall, everything was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Irene is one of the best hosts I've encountered on any of my trips so far, she's communicative, a very sweet person, always available and ready to help. Breakfast is amazing, there are sweet and savory choices. The apartment is very cozy and homey looking. The city is about 10 km away from Valletta, busses are usually on time according to Google schedule and thry are frequent, the nearest bus station is 2 minutes away from the apartment.

The bay area is lovely and full of cafes and eateries many of which are reasonably priced. Walking round the harbour (right side as you face it from the main bus stop) there are a number of constructed salt pans designed to provide a home for sea life when the tide is out which was really interesting to see. A bit further along was a newly renovated fort, St Thomas Tower, which had an incredibly interesting history focusing on piracy and the corsairs! The only downside to staying in Marsaskala was the extensive work being carried out on the harbour front itself which blocked the lovely view while sitting in the cafes.

If you are looking for a quiet area to stay, away from the...

If you are looking for a quiet area to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of Malta's more well-known tourist areas, Marsaskala is the ideal choice, being located 10-20 minutes by car from Birgu and Valletta. In the harbour area there are numerous restaurants, bars and pastry shops where you can find both local and international dishes.

Marsakala is a lovely place.

Marsakala is a lovely place. The locals are so friendly and helpful. There is a regular bus services that can take you all over the island. There are plenty of bars and restaurants which offer traditional Maltese food if you wish to try, and also lots of other international cuisines, all of which were lovely.

Enough restaurants to choose. Really nice beaches and very safe circumstansies for a walk in the municipalitiy. Well equiepped shops, kind staff anywhere. Buses are clean and fast, we were satisfied with them. Missing some cultural evenings (e.g. concerts) - our stay was at the end of September. But maybe at main time (June-August) they would be available, please check it. Small town with a very good beaches, they makes us feel happy.

Quiet fishing bay with more locals than tourists. Water is super clean here and safe swimming straight off the rocks. Great beach bars with tasty food and fantastic happy hours. A fabulous array of super high quality restaurants (not cheap). TalFamija and Nargile Lounge were particularly good along with Legends for cocktails.

+ Plenty of opportunity to enjoy food, drinks. + Very nice local buildings (old and new). The "Corsairs and Pirates" Museum in the St Thomas Tower ( and the tower itself) is a non-advertised hidden pearl of the island. + Small enough to walk around on foot + Close enough to a long list of "must see" places. - There are better beach areas on Malta.

+ hotel: reception, play room, small gym, luggage storage, elevator, swimming pool + room: small kitchen equiped for 4 people (we just missed cutting board), one bedroom and living room (hair drayer, laundry dryer, washing machine) + the hotel was simply furnished, but sufficient for a week's stay with everything you need. The location on the south was great - right in the bay, close to many restaurants and shops. But in general when you want to travel to know Malta, its quite far from Valleta and sand beaches in the north.

Breakfast exceptional, a fantastic selection. Room was very comfortable (once we'd worked out how the aircon worked!). Sadly we didn't use the pool but it looked inviting. Although Marsaskala is at one end of the island, the bus service was fantastic and taxis very reasonably priced, so we didn't need a hire car. Plenty of restaurants to suit everyone within easy walking distance from the hotel - Taj Family (5 min walk) was fantastic and a high recommend from us.

the room i stayed in was quite large and the beds were comfortable. there was an issue with water dripping in the shower which was fixed the next day, when i mentioned it to the front desk. there is a restaurant next door which served great food and bus tops within 5 mins walks, including grocery shops nearby. The sea side is within 5 mins walk from the front door of the hotel.

Breakfast is good enough even tho the instalations are way to small for all the people were there some of them they had to wait outside until someone was done. The swiming pool and the Roof lounge restaurant is really good and you have excellent attention which by the way they aren't part of the hotel, they rent the area. Location is really good.

Apartment renovated, everything works very very well, very nice inner courtyard and small balcony with view on Marsaskala port. The host (Paul) is nice and responsive. Close to many convenience shops and restaurants, close to bus stop to go to Valletta. Ideal position to explore Malta.
