The people are great, The choice of where to eat is...

The people are great, The choice of where to eat is fantastic and the boats look pretty bobbing on the water ... Walking around was fine but I expected more small shops ! The pharmacy on the seafront road was excellent and for a reasonable price my husband was able to be seen by a Doctor and prescribed antibiotics, all straightforward and a very helpful service to be provided.

Wonderful quiet haven.

Wonderful quiet haven. Visit the Poseidon Bakery just a few blocks from the hotel (open all night!) for fresh goods just out of the oven. Go to the Sunday market EARLY (I went a t 6:30 to watch them set up) Great experience to see fresh fish on display with incredible variety! Easy to walk around with great restaurants on every corner! Easy to get to town on the 81 or 85 bus. Experience Malta life like a local here. I bought a weeklong bus pass at the main bus station in Valetta ($25 and worth it!) Liska and T'a Matthew were favorite seafood restaurants on the promenade.

Picturesque fishing village with plenty of restaurants along the harbour side. The only negative is the large power station and container port just inside the harbour, best not to look in that direction! All the main street is in walking distance. Boat trips available. Big, extremely busy market on a Sunday. Therefore very hard to get into restaurants etc.

Having travelled around GOZO and MALTA for 2 weeks you realise it is a small place and you can get everywhere within 30 mins. We could have stayed in Valletta and done a day trip to here and it would have been enough.

A charming, off-the-beaten path village with colorful boats...

A charming, off-the-beaten path village with colorful boats dotting the bay and fabulous markets to explore - sets the stage for one of the most enjoyable pleasures of Malta. We reached it by bus from Valletta, which was both economical and efficient. There’s a wonderful choice of restaurants set up along the waterfront for a special evening, just one more thing that makes this town truly unforgettable.

Nice place to wander around - the beaches and coast between Marsaxlokk and Marsaskala is beautiful, particularly early in the morning. There's a good enough connection through public transport to the rest of Malta to serve as a base (though I wasn't interest in going to St Julian's etc, so can't comment on how it suits for going out)

Very large apartment and clean in a quiet location. 2 full size bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The laundry room and ironing facilities were easy to use. Host gave us bread, ham, cheese, milk and margarine to make breakfast and coffee. It was unexpected and therefore much appreciated. Was able to get check in details evening before which makes it stressfree. Marsaxlokk is a quaint fishing village, very chilled and pretty, more people should visit.

I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Great location, friendly service, and delicious bread for breakfast. The selection isn't as extensive as in a five-star hotel, but everyone found something they liked and didn't leave hungry. The rooms were cleaned daily, and towels were changed.

Kim is very accommodating and helpful. We loved the location, too. Close to Marsaxlokk Houbor. There is a market on Sundays and boats to St. Peter‘s Pool, but in a quiet area. Around the Harbour area, there are several shops, cafes and restaurants.
