Its a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere :) There is not much around the property but it has everything inside what you could need. Most of the Villas are beach front. Everything is clean. Staff are very friendly. Food selection is amazing. From arabic to asian. You can leave your kids in a kids club and spend some time in the adults only areas. They have a small shop inside so you can buy some equipment you might need in the ocean or some souveniers. Once in a week they have a beach concert. Every evening live music at the restaurants. Have shuttle or taxi service. Water in the pool perfect temperature and has almost none chemicals in it. You can have dinner even at you terrace. They bring everything from the main menu. Sunsets are beautiful and if you want great insta photos its the right place.

The friendly staff created an amazing atmosphere for my husband and I. They could not have done more for us. From the cleaners, to the bartenders (Hansley Zanzibar especially), to the activity coordinators (Steeve Cassy was exceptional), everyone catered to our differed preferences. We were never by the pool empty handed thanks to the amazingly attentive waiters. We relaxed by the pool, swam with dolphins, played golf in one of the most stunning locations we’ve both ever seen, played table tennis & tennis, tried our hand at archery & ate and drank lots and lots. The rooms were impeccable- especially our sea view room. The bed was so comfortable & the shower was a treat. Thank you all for showing us the beauty of Mauritius! Definitely take time to explore the resort to its fullest on your first day learning about the spa packages, restaurants and activities available to you.

We stayed at the resort for 7nights with our 3,5yrs old daughter, I can really recommend it for families. Everybody is really nice and kind, huge thank you for the Ladies in Kids Club. Its really well equipped with toys and other stuffs. We enjoyed also the main pool, you can just lay and drink your coctail there. The sea is really good for snorkel, it has many fishes. The breakfast and the buffet dinner was also nice, with many different meals. The garden is incredible nice with many birds, the gardeners cleaning every morning. Also, the resort is not far away (aprox. 30min by car) from La Vanilla park which we really enjoyed. Le Morne beach around 20min, Chamarel waterfall also 30min. The room is quite big so you have enough space, everything was ok.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at KOA and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a level of hospitality that immediately made us feel at home. The staff at this hotel truly set it apart.     the beach was lovely although a smokers & non smokers area is a nice option i would had prefered ... as i am a non smoker... the cleanliness and location was wonderful & gorgeous ! food options for buffet was good however the room service options ought to have more choice for dietry and enjoyment! entertainment was good and fun... also the water sports option was ideal ! kind welcoming staff who were sweet hosts! thankyou!

    Excellent location in an area that boasts greenery and nature at its best. Tamassa Bel Ombre is located next to two golf courses, a natural reserve and barely minutes away from other landmarks in Mauritius (south). Roads are safe - so it's easy to drive around but if you are after a complete relaxing holiday, venturing out of Tamassa is purely an extra then. The resort is fully equipped and offers a great opportunity for swimming, snorkeling, para-kiting in a well protected and clean bay.

    I stayed here with my 3 kids, the kids club looked great...

    I stayed here with my 3 kids, the kids club looked great although we didn't use it. We stayed for 3 nights and that was enough for us to break the city routine of our everyday life. Krishna from the concierge organised a fun day out to Chamarelle where we saw the 7 sand earth, giant turtles and the magnificent waterfall. We ended the day at Curious Corner which the kids (and I loved).

    The area is quite simple but with a local character.

    The area is quite simple but with a local character. If you are looking for an authentic experience you will like it. We mostly cooked ourselves in the apartment and had dinner twice in a nearby cafe/restaurant. The facilities were simple but the fish dishes exceeded our expectations. You need a car to get around comfortably.

    For the Family:

    For the Family: My kids had an amazing time in the Activity centre with Kursley and Kingsley playing football ,volleyball and other sports. Bamboo fishing was also another activity which my kids enjoyed a lot. Staff were friendly and very professional. For the Adults: Great selection of restaurants & bars and activities. Wonderful staff.

    Bel Ombre is very beautiful, there are a lot of activities you can do there. It is also very close to Le Morne (20 minutes by car), where you can do hiking on the mountain, windsurfing, dolphin watching, or just enjoy the beautiful beach.

    The staff who greeted us at the entrance were very welcoming. This is the best welcome I have received until now. I have stayed at many hotels in the past but I think this hotel has the best staff. Mr Yashil and others were exceptional. Thank you for making us comfortable. The hotel needs renovation but was clean and beautiful.

    Its a beautiful and elegant hotel, while still being child friendly and relaxed. The choices for food were amazing- and I would definitely get the Gourmet Bliss option which is all inclusive at both Heritage hotels. The Timomo Kids club was also amazing and kept the little one occupied and happy throughout most of the days.

    We were positivly surprised about the kindness of the hotel stuff in all areas. They really take care very good of their guests and that their guests feel comfortable. The resort is a little paradise in Bel Ombre with a nice peacful and relaxing atmospfere.
