Lovely hotel. The best staff I have ever met- smiling, kind, responsive. My room was cleaned twice a day. The hotel is on the beach with transparent waters, corals an small colored fishes. It was peaceful and relaxing vacation

We stayed here for 7 nights and it was perfect. I liked the ambience of the whole setting, we had a spacious, nicely decorated room in a creol-style building, with shared terrace, kitchen and living room, all set in a large green garden. There is an on site restaurant with great cuisine where you can have lunch and dinner as well if you want. Staff is amazing, everybody is so helpful, open and kind. Special thanks to Deborah who kindly helped us solving an issue (not related to our stay in Kaz'alala). Close to Kaz'alala there are 2 five star hotels on the beach, plus a beach club and a chateu you have access to since all this belongs to the same group.

We stayed at the resort for 7nights with our 3,5yrs old daughter, I can really recommend it for families. Everybody is really nice and kind, huge thank you for the Ladies in Kids Club. Its really well equipped with toys and other stuffs. We enjoyed also the main pool, you can just lay and drink your coctail there. The sea is really good for snorkel, it has many fishes. The breakfast and the buffet dinner was also nice, with many different meals. The garden is incredible nice with many birds, the gardeners cleaning every morning. Also, the resort is not far away (aprox. 30min by car) from La Vanilla park which we really enjoyed. Le Morne beach around 20min, Chamarel waterfall also 30min. The room is quite big so you have enough space, everything was ok.

From the moment we reached the hotel, the considerable amount of hospitality and the great welcome that we received from each and every staff who goes out of their way to make the client happy is really unique in this hotel. My wife and son had their best time before school resumes. The level of service is definitely unique in the world i would say as i travel frequently. If you want to feel the saying of the customer is king have a stay in sofitel you will feel it

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a level of hospitality that immediately made us feel at home. The staff at this hotel truly set it apart.     the beach was lovely although a smokers & non smokers area is a nice option i would had prefered ... as i am a non smoker... the cleanliness and location was wonderful & gorgeous ! food options for buffet was good however the room service options ought to have more choice for dietry and enjoyment! entertainment was good and fun... also the water sports option was ideal ! kind welcoming staff who were sweet hosts! thankyou!

    Excellent location in an area that boasts greenery and nature at its best. Tamassa Bel Ombre is located next to two golf courses, a natural reserve and barely minutes away from other landmarks in Mauritius (south). Roads are safe - so it's easy to drive around but if you are after a complete relaxing holiday, venturing out of Tamassa is purely an extra then. The resort is fully equipped and offers a great opportunity for swimming, snorkeling, para-kiting in a well protected and clean bay.

    I stayed here with my 3 kids, the kids club looked great...

    I stayed here with my 3 kids, the kids club looked great although we didn't use it. We stayed for 3 nights and that was enough for us to break the city routine of our everyday life. Krishna from the concierge organised a fun day out to Chamarelle where we saw the 7 sand earth, giant turtles and the magnificent waterfall. We ended the day at Curious Corner which the kids (and I loved).

    The area is quite simple but with a local character.

    The area is quite simple but with a local character. If you are looking for an authentic experience you will like it. We mostly cooked ourselves in the apartment and had dinner twice in a nearby cafe/restaurant. The facilities were simple but the fish dishes exceeded our expectations. You need a car to get around comfortably.

    For the Family:

    For the Family: My kids had an amazing time in the Activity centre with Kursley and Kingsley playing football ,volleyball and other sports. Bamboo fishing was also another activity which my kids enjoyed a lot. Staff were friendly and very professional. For the Adults: Great selection of restaurants & bars and activities. Wonderful staff.

    Bel Ombre is very beautiful, there are a lot of activities you can do there. It is also very close to Le Morne (20 minutes by car), where you can do hiking on the mountain, windsurfing, dolphin watching, or just enjoy the beautiful beach.

    Really nice location, short drives to nearby tourist attractions and full access to the Heritage 5 stars Resorts (pools,facilities and beach). The dinner was really delicious, have to say that this was the best part of our stay, the evening staff also really friendly and professional. The chateau Bel Ombre is 2 minutes walk and you have free access to visit and it’s definitely worth it. The room was very clean, they changed the towels and sheets every day.

    1) The landscape of the Hotel is phenomenal and very soothing. 2) The hospitality of some of the staff was wonderful, i.e., Sandy, who works at the Blue Mini Bar next to the pool, and Yannish, working at Mercado restaurant in the morning. 3) The pool is very comfortable for relaxation and some nice light swimming.
