No enterance on Mauritius can match the one on Prince Maurice. Now it's our 4th time at the Hotel and everytime you arrive you just know this is going to be a fantastic stay. No reason to write a long review I can only recommend that you try it once and you will keep coming back. Thanks to all the wonderfull staff for always making our stay fantastic. We look forward to see you again in the vinter.

In short, I definitely recommend staying in Shanti Nivas, I loved my stay there. Jay and Henry were very welcoming, helpful and overall great hosts. Their warm personality makes Shanti Nivas so exceptional. The rooms are spacious, airy, spotless clean and equiped with all the necessary amenities, including net against mosquitos (very useful). Balcony with outside seating area is again spacious and faces the beautiful garden Jay and Henry created. The garden is simply beautiful and it contains sizeable part of all Mauritian plant species (not kidding!), including impressive papaya tree and range of other plants, which attract fruit bats and various bird species. Definitely take the breakfasts, they are served in the garden and very yummy - selection of tropical fruits was lovely, but for me the special highlight was the omelette, the chats, and the red cardinal bird of course :) Also best value for money from the places we stayed in. The only thing to consider for pedestrian travellers is that the road to nearest beach or anywhere outside of the village is a for the adventurous folks as there is not much space for walking on the road and locals drive fast, but you can take local taxis/buses and if you have a car, this is no issue.

Review: A Perfect Escape at Constance Belle Mare Plage We recently stayed at Constance Belle Mare Plage, and it was nothing short of fabulous! Everything about this resort exceeded our expectations—from the food to the facilities to the incredible energy that fills the place. The dining experience was an absolute highlight. The variety of cuisines was outstanding, but the Creole cuisine truly stole the show. Every dish was bursting with flavor, authenticity, and a unique local touch that made each meal unforgettable. Whether it was fresh seafood, perfectly prepared Creole specialties, or indulgent desserts, every meal felt like a celebration. The facilities were equally impressive—spacious rooms, pristine pools, and a breathtaking beachfront that felt like paradise. The spa offered a serene escape that left us feeling rejuvenated and pampered. What truly set this resort apart, though, was the outstanding staff. A special thanks to Kaillash, whose warmth and attentiveness made our vacation even more extraordinary. Nancy, Vincent, Lata, and Eggman also went above and beyond to ensure that every moment of our stay was seamless and unforgettable. Their dedication to providing top-notch service made all the difference. The staff were all very welcoming and accommodating as well as courteous and professional. After a very long flight, we were very tired and were lucky to be able to check in an hour earlier. Staff at the reception made us feel welcome since the minute we walked in. Then we needed a day to unwind and Spa was the place to go. Special shout out to Ritika. We used the spa a good few times throughout our stay and it offers a wide range of massages and beauty treatments. Their signature massage is chakra massage and I highly recommend it. We had a minor issue with the room and once reported, the hotel staff took action immediately and as an apology, they upgraded us to a superior room. The food was delicious. Everything we tried, tasted really good. Initially I did not book all inclusive as I thought that I would eat out most of the times but it was the opposite, we ended having food mainly at the hotel because it was that good. I chose this hotel because I did not want to stay at a busy resort and it was the right decision. I also liked the beach as it was quite good for snorkelling. All in all, this place was just perfect for my needs and highly went above my expectations.

These Resort was a nice surprise: staff is very kind, very worried about our experience; We have lots of free activities: snorkel, glass boat, aqua gym, local cultural experiences, etc. For a 3* hotel, it is a great experience

I had a wonderful time at SeaSense Hotel. The location is perfect—right on the beachfront with stunning views. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety each morning. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. A relaxing and memorable stay—highly recommended!

This was a fantastic stay for everyone in our group of 6 people. Can't name anything that didn't meet our expectations. Staff was so wonderful, beach was amazing. I can confidently recommend this hotel. No doubt that LUX chain is one of our favorites from now on. Thank you guys for making our holiday great.
