It's simple.. the best place where you can stay in Mauritius The apartment is spacious, super clean and well equipped. Every single detail is impeccable You can park your car in a private space right at the entrance of the aparment The terrace overlooking the ocean is incredibly nice, having a beer with the sunset is something you will keep in your memory forever The position is great, there is a huge supermarket 1 minute away by car. You can find restaurants and all the services you might need very close to the house Le Morne beach is literaly 10 minutes driving distance But the best thing is the host Ansha and the rest of the family did their best to make me feel comfortable. They all gave me useful information, we shared some delicious meals and they made me feel at home I really appreciate what they did for me and I will surely come back here. My stay in the island couldn't be better thanks to them Ansha, I really appreciate your efforts to make me feel happy Don't hesitate to book this place, you will never regret it I stayed for a week but I could have stayed forever Thank you, thank you, thank youu :)

The place itself is very aesthetic. Nicolas, was a super host. He was warm, friendly and always very attentive. Thank you for being so accommodating. We would definitely recommend this place to others. The apartment is spacious and ideal for a small group. Safe property for couples and solo travellers. The balcony deserves a special mention.

Stunning Apartment at The Balise Marina – 5-Star Feel! Our stay at The Balise Marina was absolutely amazing. As soon as we walked in, we were struck by how beautiful, spacious, and luxurious the apartment was. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, the living area is cozy, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home – from utensils to towels, it was all thoughtfully provided. The apartment was immaculately clean, with a 5-star hotel feel throughout. The pool is huge and fantastic, perfect for a relaxing swim. The entire environment is lush, green, and peaceful, with beautiful boats gently passing by as you sit on the very large and lovely balcony – an ideal spot for morning coffee or evening drinks. The location is great too – just a 2-minute drive to supermarkets and restaurants, making it very convenient. The host is outstanding – incredibly kind, generous, and always helpful. Communication was smooth and friendly throughout. We truly loved every minute of our stay and will definitely return again and again. Without a doubt, this was one of the best apartment experiences we've ever had!

Riviere Noire is a beautiful area, with good supermarkets...

Riviere Noire is a beautiful area, with good supermarkets and restaurants although some can be very expensive. La Bonne Chute Restaurant is to be avoided at all costs. Any complaint to the manager is just discarded as she was the owner. The local beach, La Preneuse, is very near, with beautiful white sand.

We liked the area close to the Riviere Noire Reserve and it...

We liked the area close to the Riviere Noire Reserve and it was convenient for the quieter beaches on the south coast. We recommend a guided tour of the Ebony Forest Reserve. We had a fascinating day out with a very knowledgeable guide and saw a lot of birdlife; the views out to sea are also stunning. Be warned: driving in Mauritius is not easy, even with satnav! We got lost several times, especially around Port Louis. If you choose to go to Port Louis, we recommend using the local bus. There is a bus stop two minutes' walk from the apartment (shortly before London Way supermarket). You can pick up a bus at about 7.30 am and return on a 119 bus at 30 minutes past the hour from Immigration Square near the waterfront of Port Louis. If you want to eat out, the Happy Rajah restaurant on the main road serves good value Indian food. The fish thali is particularly tasty.

lovely shopping complexes, boutiques, restaurants, and supermarket if you are self catering. Great place to tour around, for a heli-copter ride in the south to see the underwater waterfall, and go to the Ebony Forest

The Riviere Noire area is quite busy and urbanised so it isn't a great location if you want to "get away from it all". However, it has some fabulous restaurants, cafes and bars along with useful shops Bed and breakfast hotel tariffs are a great option since you sample superb Mauritian cuisine away from the hotel. It is also a great location for visiting the Black River Gorge. The beach is OK but the stunning beaches at Le Morne and Flic en Flac are each a 15 minute drive away. Bonne Chute restaurant is excellent Also highly recommended - the cafes at Vanilla Village and Kumba

It's a really nice house with super friendly and helpful owners. They put a lot of effort to host you best they can. The house is well equipped, there is nothing we have missed and what is very important, everything is super, super clean. For a long time we didn't see a house with this kind of cleanliness level. You feel like home there and we recommend this house 110%, you won't regret it. It is our best place to stay in Mauritius (we have been also in some other places) and we would rent it once again, no doubt.

The food was the best of the mauritus. The room was clean. The receptionist emilie was very helpful and friendly. The beach and pool of the hotel was beautiful.
