The staff is very kind and helpful. I liked the island tour they do for new arrivals. They gave me a lot of good advice. Room was cleaned every day which was nice. Breakfast was good (the maldivian one was super delicious🙂).

Riveli Retreat has a location - one of the best in Matheveri! The nearest bikini beach is 7 minutes walk. In the rooms expect comfortable furniture, silent air conditioning, wardrobe, flat-screen TV and wifi. There is also a private balcony and a private bathroom with a shower. Farhad, the owner, is very friendly and helpful, he will help with tours and activities like snorkeling, diving, fishing as well as sea excursions. We had the chance to see Turtles, Dolphins, Sharks and went to the Sandbank for a picnic. The guest house offers also a delicious restaurant with a menu of dishes of local and western cuisine. He offers a very welcoming atmosphere and absolute comfort at an affordable price. I definitely would recommend this guesthouse.

We were extremely satisfied with the accommodation Aquatic. It exceeded our expectations not only with the room facilities but also with the approach of the manager Arey. From the beginning of the reservation until our departure, the accommodation manager was available to us. When we wanted to know something, he was always happy to advise us. This is how I imagine the manager's approach to guests. Very pleasant and helpful people. The room was large enough. We always had a bottle of water in the room. Clean accommodation with an excellent location on the island. It took us about a minute to get everywhere. A minute to breakfast, a minute to the shop, a minute to the beach. We felt very comfortable there. I definitely recommend it. One of our most beautiful holidays in the Maldives.

There are no words to describe this incredible experience at Mathiveri, a small island with simple but very kind and hospitable inhabitants. It has magnificent beaches with free sun loungers and swings, an easily accessible sand island, and a soothing sense of tranquility. Staying at Velana Vibes made us feel at home. Munzir, the owner, was always available to meet any request or need. We could use the kitchen, fully equipped for preparing our meals, the lounge area for working or enjoying conversations with friends, the machine ready for free coffee and tea at any time, and safe drinking water was always available. We are certain that Velana Vibes is the most well-maintained accomodation on the island -new and aesthetically the most beautiful, with very spacious rooms with large bathrooms and all the necessary comforts. Munzir also runs a minimarket, and his stepmother owns a souvenirs shop, ensuring that guests have access to everything they might need. He personally arranged our speedboat transfer from and to Malé, picked us up at the port, and took us back with luggage transportation included. On the first day, he even organized a mini-kart tour of the island, as a courtesy from him, so we could get to know it better. Munzir is supported by Imma, the talented chef who prepared our breakfasts and meals on deserted islands (even for special dietary needs), as well as an excellent organizer and tour guide for customized and private excursions. What really made this experience truly magical was feeling among friends, having evening conversations with Imma and Munzir, who gave us advice, clarified doubts, and helped us understand the local customs, culture, and history. They shared jokes with us and even taught us a few words in their language. On the morning of our departure, we received a wonderful surprise: a delicious chocolate cake with 'We will miss you" written on it. It left us speechless. Baraabaru!

La Pearl hotel is an excellent choice for your stay. The hotel boasts a fantastic location,is newly built and beautifully designed. The ambiance is delightful and the rooftop offers breathtaking views. The food in hotel restaurant was absolutely out of heaven! However, the true highlight of La Pearl is its people. The staff are genuinely warm, friendly and accommodating. They go above and beyond to meet every need, always greeting guests with smiles and cheerful energy. Their kindness made us feel not just like visitors but like part of their family. Staying at La Pearl was an unforgettable experience and we will return. Highly recommend!

Bodufolhudhoo is a small island, about 90 minutes away from Male by speed boat. It’s easy to walk around as it is not very big. There’s are quite few shops to buy snacks, drinks (no alcohol) and souvenirs. There are few restaurants on the island, but we didn’t get to eat there as we had amazing food at Belmars Beach hotel.

The island itself is quiet and small (300 m in diameter, you can go round with paddleboard in 30 minutes, if you stay outer side of the reef), has small number of restaurants and cafes, 2 shops. Go to the port in the evening to see how locals are fishing! People in the island are friendly, it is safe. There is also medical center couple steps from Paguro hotel. The island has new footbal and volleyball playgrounds with artificial grass, they are public. One net is also on the beach.

It has a very nice reef with lots of opportunities for snorkelling and diving in the vicinity. The place is a couple of hours of speed boat ride from the airport. One must plan the flights as the day is lost if arrivals / departures are between 11 am & 4pm

This island has the best house reef (even better than private resort island) and it’s in pristine condition. It has a lovely relaxed vibe. The service in cafes is amazing. Streets are kept so clean and tidy as the locals make the effort of keeping their island beautiful. Bikini beach is private and exclusive and not crowded.

I have never been to Maldives so I do not have any other...

I have never been to Maldives so I do not have any other island to compare with Bodufolhudhoo. From my experience though, I can easily say it was a great mix of local life and tourism. I probably would regret going to a resort and experiencing only the tourist side of Maldives instead of both. Beautiful island, friendly locals, amazing diving spots & great food! :):):)
