I had the most incredible birthday at Bageecha Stay! The rooms were absolutely spotless, with a lovely fresh scent and everything feeling brand new. The service was top-notch – personalized and thoughtful at every turn. The food? Delicious and beautifully presented! One of the best parts is the ability to choose between local Maldivian dishes or European cuisine, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The island is the perfect size for exploring, with clean beaches and stunning ocean views. The view from my room was breathtaking, with the ocean stretching out right before my eyes. The highlight of my stay was taking a boat trip to a deserted island, which turned out to be the most unforgettable experience. It was peaceful, beautiful, and truly magical – a once-in-a-lifetime moment! For those who love to explore, the resort offers bicycles that you can take and ride around the island. It’s a fun and relaxing way to see every corner of this beautiful place. Everything at Bageecha Stay is designed with attention to detail. The rooms were cleaned regularly, ensuring everything stayed fresh and pristine. They even have special branded beach towels, which was a lovely touch and added to the luxurious feel of the stay. Another unique feature of the resort is the sight of planes taking off – a fascinating experience that makes for amazing photos! We had an amazing experience. The staff helped us to book the flights from Male to Dharavandhoo and the speedboat back. More than that we got more help that we could ask for because we forgot some things at the hotel and they managed to send them back to us before our flight to Europe. Everyone was incredibly kind with us ❤️ the room was great and we definitely recommend the ones facing the beach! They also organised trips everyday! We believed that the prices are more than good for the overall experience in Chak'z 1964.

The host and all the staff were extremely helpful. They have provided all the information I asked for before the arrival and they have facilitated the snorkeling trips for us. When we left, they also wrote to us to make sure we have arrived ok to the new location. Lovely! The room was clean and big enough. The bathtub in the room was a big plus.

We had an amazing stay at Blue World. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and well located. We loved having the bikes available to quickly get around! What really made the stay was the staff - they were just amazing! We did three excursions in two days - to Hanifaru to see the mantas, then another trip snorkelling on two reefs, and finally a sunset dolphin cruise. The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly, they took us all over and spent so much time teaching us and showing us their wonderful island. We would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you for the best stay!!

We had such an amazing time at Hanifaru Transit Inn! The owner, Ahmed, was super kind and helpful – he told us everything we needed to know about the island. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a fresh coconut, which was such a nice touch. The room was very clean and smelled really nice. The bed was huge, and we slept so well! The breakfast was Maldivian and honestly the best breakfast we had on any of the islands we visited! We got both sweet and savory options and could try everything. It was always so filling, and I looked forward to it every morning. The rest of the staff were always smiling and happy to help, answering all our questions and taking great care of us. One of the big perks was the fridge downstairs with unlimited bottles of water that we could grab anytime during the day. It was perfect because we didn’t have to look for shops just to buy water. We could also make coffee or tea whenever we wanted. The room was cleaned every day, and the towels were changed every second day. Communication with Ahmed on WhatsApp was quick and easy. I really recommend this place, and I hope we’ll be back someday!

Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's...

Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's airport traveling to a resort nearby. We had chosen to spend a few days in the Biosphere guesthouse. The charming guesthouse itself, the wonderfull staff and the range of activities made us extend our stay with a few days. It's the perfect startingpoint for alot of affordeable (water) activities and also the island has alot to offer (inc nice beaches, snorkling spot's, sports- and playgrounds, restaurant (Krill is recomended!),... We spent new year's eve where the islands council arranges a memorable big party for tourists and residents.

Amazing stay for one day after diving livaboard trip.

Amazing stay for one day after diving livaboard trip. Walking around was really relaxing as this island is QUIET! Personal highlights were playing volleyball with the locals (free court with lights, started at 9 and we went on until midnight!). Also Coral Boutique is a must visit - blue whale bones, and owner is super interesting to talk to! Don't leave the island without visiting the store! DFC for food is a must.

The manta snokelling trip in Hanifaru bay was stunning - seeing ~20 giant manta rays, the sensation is just difficult to describe in words! And the sunset fishing trip was also beyond expectation - we caught amost 20 fishes and the guesthouse helped cook the catch without surcharge.

The island is very small and you can walk it, in flip-flops, rather slowly from one end to another in about 15 minutes. It is very quiet, full of wonderful beaches, seemed safe and the grocery store was easily reachable as well.

Dharavandhoo is a very laid back locals island.

Dharavandhoo is a very laid back locals island. There is not much to do other than diving and beach time, both of which were truly wonderful. The island does not allow alcohol, and females should respect the Muslim culture and cover shoulders and thighs, and swim at the "bikini beach." A bicycle is all that is needed to get around the island, Keep in mind that there are few cafes and shops, so be prepared for diving, sun and relaxation. Small and quiet island occupied in its half by an airport...

Small and quiet island occupied in its half by an airport and on the other half by the locals and a few guesthouses. Perfect place to relax and forget all the rest. Not much to see on the island. Few souvenir shops and one restaurant near the airport. Some excursions are organized by the guesthouses. Very quiet place. Friendly people, lovely beach and dolphins strolling by. I recommend Honney Bunny restaurant next to the airport. Dharavandhoo is not a place to stay for too long if you prefer busy environments.
