This is very nice property in very cute part of Thulusdhoo. All the staff are super kind and all your disposal. Room are very spacious and clean. Breakfast is also very nice, with some different options every day. As well we liked free pick up/drop off service to Thulusdhoo port. As well through the hotel you can book speed boat to/from Male/Male airport, just let them know in advance. Price is same as you book directly.

I had the most incredible stay here at wave crest. Was my first time in thulusdhoo and the team here really made it meorable for me. Everyone was super friendly and very helpful. My room was filled with light (and i could see the ocean from my window) and the bed was super comfortable. I was a solo traveller and came here to surf and relax so the location was absoloutley perfect as its right next to cokes surf break / close to everything else. The food was super yummy and fresh and i even had the honor to have dinner at the new resturant downstairs with all the locals on one of my last nights there. This place is epic and i can highly reccomend for anyone finding this gem. Its new and has fresh vibe going on. I really loved it. Miss you guys already. Untill next time. Thanks again.

Very clean, fresh and comfortable place. Silent area, close to the bikini beach - 1 minute by walk. Land lord is very syphatic and helpful person - he helped us with booking a speed boat, showed us best places to take the rest and eat delicious and cheap local food. We were impreses his kindness and helpfullness - in his hause we felt relaxed. My personal and overall rating is 10/10 - I recommend to everyone this place!

The owner is really the best for service, she always up to date, contact n help me when i have a problem from my booking until the last day I check out....during my vacation , I left my clothes but her staff send back to me at jetty fasterly....their room also clean, beautiful n comfortable... I eat their local breakfast, its delicious n look healthy... Breakfast will send to our room n we can decide which time we want...she also help me to know about the public ferry time...

one of the best experience we had in the Maldives. the location was perfect, just across the Bikini beach, our room was very big and comfortable, and the best thing was the friendly and helpful hosts. from the arrvial to the Island up until we needed to get the ferry, they assist with everything we needed and made us feel like home. this hotel needs to have 5 points on its rating. everything was perfect and we highly recommend it

The guest house had such a homely feel to it, and the bed was soo comfy. In a great location, everything wasn’t a far distance to walk too. The breakfast was super filling and changed every morning which I liked. Arushad was super welcoming and gave good recommendations on where to go and what to do. Would highly recommend and definitely will be going back

I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...

I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement. The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)! Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!). I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive! Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus. Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!

The beach is beautiful.

The beach is beautiful. I´m afraid it would be too crowded in a couple of years as the contruction of new buildings on the island is massive. Would be nice to remove the hakenkreuz that is sprayed on the wall in the harbor. Not a nice welcome sign for tourists.

I would recommend Thulusdhoo as a holiday destination for a beach holiday for a few days only. It's going to get boring quickly. But as a diving destination and as an introduction to the Maldives, Thulusdhoo has my absolute recommendation. There are numerous hotels and restaurants on the island. You really have plenty of choice. You should take enough US dollars with you as a means of payment. Euros are also fine. Credit cards are only accepted to a limited extent. The inhabitants of the island are very friendly.

Thulusdhoo is a fantastic local island, we stayed 16 nights and loved the choice of places to eat and things to do, although we were planning on mainly spending time relaxing on the beach and in the water.

This island is perfect if you are looking for a genuine...

This island is perfect if you are looking for a genuine Maldivian experience. It offers perfect tropical beaches, insane turquoise waters, and great surfing for those who surf. My ten year old and I used a stand up paddle board to explore while my husband surfed and in the evenings we would walk the charming sandy "roads" of the village and try out the incredible local restaurants. Utterly safe and peaceful, we loved exploring. Our guest house, Iru, was a dream! We went on the snorkeling excursions which were outstanding and a Must Do! Like snorkeling in an aquarium!!! The locals were friendly and welcoming and it was lovely to be on holiday without the constant sales pitches so often experienced in other places. We will definitely be back to Thulusdhoo!

Its inhabitted island with 1500 local citizens.

Its inhabitted island with 1500 local citizens. Its 5km in circuit - I run it. its close to Male - 30min by speedboat - cost 25$/person. Had no isuse with local people, all nice ot at minimum neutral. Island has 2 bikini beaches, Dream Beach - the one close to sunset beach I enjoyed more. Water crystal clear, nice very gentle white sand. on island several restaurants - you can find the one used also by locals and few more turist popular. There is no reef but no issue to go for snorekling routes. There is couple of bigger buildings in process to be build up - suppose more hotels. Island is popular among surfers -but I do not surf so cant judge posibilities. Locals could care more about the surroundings, general cleanliness could be far much better. Same as lack of garbage bins and recycling of plastic bottles.

The hotel itself is at amazing place and very convenient for families with children or couples. The breakfast was a little bit strange for Europeans but the dinner was always with at least one fish dish and delicious. Very calm atmosphere. Polite and helpful staff . We desire to come back to Thulusdhoo again.

The staf are very nice and do al lot to make you feel happy. On the last day they surprised us with grilled fish diner to thank us. The hotel is nice calm and very relaxing. It is super for a hilliday on Thulusdhoo.
