This is the 5th time we were in Maldive and among all local hotel that we had been through, Belmar beach gives us the best experienced. Below are the reasons: 1. The hotel room & toilet were clean and very functional - I would give a rating of 9 out of 10. 2. We have a beach front room and was very convenient to the beach with beautiful view and lots of privacy, the beach was clean and not even dry leaves, (everymorning there will be cleaner cleaning up all the dry leaves) - 9 out of 10. 3. The in house reef was also another plus point, without the need to travel any place further and we get to enjoy our snorkeling - 8 out of 10. 4. Everyday , we enjoyed our lunch and dinner there because the hotel has a very good chef. We are not easy to be please with food but for this chef , we give a thumbs up - 10 out of 10. 5. Activities - we went for lobster hunt and we had 2 lobster plus 1 fish catch for our dinner. we went for sunset fishing trip and we caught 19 fishes in 2 hours. They knows exactly which is the spot to catch the fish, so Sunset fishing is a must go activities, likewise for Lobster hunting. and we have 4 fishes for our beach front dinner , which was a surprise arrangement by the hotel staff - 9 out of 10. 6. The island is very well located , as most activities are not too far away from the island and that make it convenient without having to take hours just to reach the activity location - 9 out of 10.

Absolutely loved everything about this place. The hotel was very cozy and in a great location. The bed was big and comfy. All the staff was very welcoming and friendly. My stay at Trópico villa was absolutely amazing. Room was neat and cozy, all facilities were well maintained. Every morning I enjoyed sun and coffee at my small terrace 🥰 They offer nice variety of breakfast options. Villa is located in the heart of the island and you can walk everywhere, beach is just few minutes away. Special thanks to host Shimbe, who took a really good care to make my stay memorable and smooth.

The location is amazing close to the sea. Also room was very clean and staff helpful. The beach was 10m and was the best of the island.

The location is great, not far from the beach and restaurants (we have tried several of them and recomend Lemon Drop restaurant the most). The hosts were great, polite and very helpful. They have asisted us all the time even beyond all our expectations. They were always ready to fulfill our excursions wishes. Across the street a big new hotel is growing up so from time to time it was little bit noisy but at the time of our vidit it was impossible to avoid this. When the resort will be open the new stretch of bikini beach should be establish in vicinity, (not more than 60 m away) which is a very good spot for snorkeling too.
