This accommodation was absolutely fantastic! From the very beginning, Esther warmly welcomed us, provided all the information we needed, and proactively took care of everything. The property is stunning and impeccably maintained, with beautiful rooms, warm shower water, a pool, hammocks, bean bags, and more. The breakfast was delicious and always more than enough. We highly recommend having a car, as it makes exploring the surrounding area much easier. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay, and we would recommend it to anyone. We’d love to come back ourselves! It’s the perfect choice for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Tulum and truly enjoy a relaxing vacation.

Very comfortable hut in the jungle. Perfectly clean. Great location, 10 min to Akumal, although the Road is a bit adventurous, but we made it even with a small car. Pool is amazing.

This is a perfect spot to get away from the crowds of tourists and enjoy the sounds of the jungle. The host Juan is a very kind and special man, a great cook, who will do everything to make your stay exceptional. The pool in front of the cabins is just amazing, it gives you the opportunity to cool off after a day of sightseeing or just relax the entire day like we did a few times. There is a village nearby where you can eat local food and enjoy a drink in the evening with live music at times. THANK YOU JUAN!! You made our stay in Mexico unforgettable!!

This is a jungle paradise retreat. Surrounded by lush trees and the sounds of wild animals, the tranquility and serenity of this place were unparalleled. There’s quiet luxury in every detail: the natural materials of the houses, the design, the small self-service wine cellar, the natural pool, and the fact that the whole place is self-sufficient. It truly felt like being a part of nature; the place is built to make you follow its’ rythm. We were so stunned by its’ beauty we ended up extending our stay! During our visit, the lovely caretaker Arturo greeted us on his moped and warmly guided us to the property late at night, instantly making us feel at home. He was truly attentive and friendly during our stay - even making us breakfast because we hadn’t noticed this is a self-service accommodation. If you’re seeking a secluded but comfortable place to escape and recharge, this is for you! Strongly recommend. Just flawless.

Wakax Hacienda was a nice discovery in Tulum. It is a very big property, with a lot of activities to do (included in the price) and with super comfortable e nicely decorated rooms. The restaurant is very nice as well, with happy staff read to bring you everything you need. We did a tour with gonzo (the hotel tour guide) through the underground river in the property. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, Gonzo is trained to teach and entertain and we had a wonderful time with him. The room had an amazing bed, very hot shower, air conditioning, robes and a big bathroom. All very well cleaned and organized.

Small typical town for the area without many tourists. A couple of good local options for simple restaurants (we ate at Los Primos) which offered good food at reasonable prices. Felt perfectly safe to walk/drive around after dark here as well.

The apartment was tranquil and quiet!

The apartment was tranquil and quiet! A perfect place to rest! The host (management company) was very proactive, responsive and efficient! Great AC and a lovely pool! The king size bed was so comfortable! Definitely stay here! And definitely book a meal at Probadita (you can walk there from the apartment)! There are quiet roads to run on if you enjoy jogging like I do! We were unable to cook because there was an induction burner without induction cookware. However, the host said they will look into this with immediacy! There was no closet or drawers to place our clothing and the electrical outlets were in strange locations (a bit difficult to access).

Lovely town away from the tourist trap.

Lovely town away from the tourist trap. It felt safer than Tulum town. The locals are very friendly. One grocery shop and 3 restaurants. We recommend Los Primos. Great service, prices and the best food we had.

It's quite a remote place; you really have to enjoy feeling...

It's quite a remote place; you really have to enjoy feeling completely cut off from everything. It's not the ideal location. We preferred to stay near Akumal to have access to the beach and a few restaurants.
