We stayed in Ixmiquilpan for 2 nights as a base to go to Grutas Tolantongo. Our hotel is about 15 min from the center of town. There is no uber or didi services at all. As such, it is a bit difficult to get around. Fortunately, the hotel offers some type of “taxi” service for us, which is extremely helpful and convenient. Even though we do not speak each other’s language, we use Google translation to communicate. The staff are super helpful. What makes this stay most memorable is its restaurant. Food is super delicious. We had a long day trip to Grutas Tolantongo. Hence, it was very comfortable to just stay in the hotel restaurant for dinner. Relatively big dinner menu. Good service and very tasty food served.

This was a very nice villa! Very clean and tidy. A very good bed and the host Jesus was very nice. We loved the room we were in, big, clean, .... 🤩 We could park our car in front of the villa behind the locked gate. We felt very safe here.

Very well managed. Super clean. Good wifi. Quiet. Free breakfast included with the room. The hotel restaurant is very good. Good value for your stay. Super clean and everything works well including hot water and water pressure. Nothing fancy, but tastefully decorated, safe and very comfortable. A last comment: This hotel is a good base for exploring thermal water pools. There are at least 15 "balnearios" at less than hour from the hotel, and many of them accessible with cheap and efficient public transportation, including the famous site of Grutas Tolantongo.
