The breakfast (we had the eggs and the fruit/cereal) and dinner (both had quesadillas) were fantastic, and the setting was peaceful and beautiful. Such a great spot to spend our first night in Mexico.

This was the perfect little slice of heaven to escape to. In the middle of nowhere, yet still easily accessible. It was quiet, peaceful, comforting, and very easy to relax. Management, staff, and volunteers were a small, intimate group that went out of their way to make everyone comfortable. The meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner if you choose) are all home-cooked on-site and incredibly delicious and they have a variety of vegan options that were all out of this world. Mornings here are peaceful and the perfect backdrop for early meditation/yoga in the meditation tent. The afternoons can be lazy if you choose, in a hammock with a good book or an afternoon siesta in one of the cozy cabins, and the evenings are quiet, either by the bonfire or laying out under the dark sky and bright stars listening to nothing but the night creature noises. (*note - when we were here they were working on the construction of the Tren Maya, so trucks could be heard driving by in the distance, but that is almost finished and it didn't take away from the beauty of our stay.) Our dogs were warmly welcomed and enjoyed exploring the space as much as we did. The property and cabins are meticulous. This stay did not disappoint and we will be back. The wooden house is absolutely beautiful. The place is very cozy, with lots of trees and flowers. In the morning you wake up hearing birds. the bed is super comfy and the hot shower outside was just amazing after a day out diving in the sea. Mexican breakfast was delicious and I was very nicely welcome. a hidden gem to visit for sure !

This is my second visit to Jolie Jungle, and I was not disappointed again. This is a perfect place for birdwatchers - all the units are surrounded by lush jungle with a great variety of birds, and they are all well apart from each other. I'm up to 116 species of birds on their property or less than 2 km around it. The club house has a nice selection of games (board games, giant chess, pool, ping-pong), and the pool is nice. The owners are very friendly and speak Spanish, English and French, and the rest of the staff is very friendly as well. The food served is excellent.

it was very clean, while in the jungle. Everything was also spacious, so it felt very comfortable to walk around and sleep inside the tent. The food made by Rosario was amazing and healthy!

This is a restful haven in the middle of the jungle, where all you hear is birds and maybe the gentle dripping of rain from the myriad of leaves all around. It was too rainy for us to want to use the pool, but it looked lovely - large and clean. The mock beach where the seating is was a nice touch. The breakfast was reasonably priced and delicious, although in 30 years of coming to Mexico, we've never had pieces of tortilla mixed in with the huevos a la mexicana before. We suspect they may do this for bulk, so they can use fewer eggs, but that's just our impression.
