BelgiumWhat an amazing place! Loved the history behind the place and reading all the biographies of the famous visitors on the walls. The room, the grounds and the pool were lovely. The staff was so kind and welcoming. We took a tour of the plantation in a vintage vehicle, it seems expensive but we had a wonderful time trying all the fruit, hearing the history of the property and listening to our great guide.

NetherlandsNew, clean, and luxurious hotel. We arrived by train (tren maya) and were picked up from the station. The hotel also took us to the Uxmal temple by shuttle (20 minutes). Excellent service!

AustraliaThe wonderful hosts!! We couldn’t have had a more welcoming experience and felt more at home. The grounds weee peaceful and lovely, the rooms were clean, spacious and colourful. Elissio and his staff put their heart and soul into their establishment. Make sure you have a bite to eat and drink at the attached cafe/bar.

Spent about 3 hours at Uxmal site. Lots of large sites to see and you can wander at your own pace. It was my favorite of the sites we visited on the trip. Tickets and entry could be clearer and signage at sites in Mexico is always lacking, but the quality of the ruins and architecture is fantastic. To really get to experience Mayan culture, the near by towns and cenotes and more archeological sites I would recommend a week in Uxmal . I loved every minute we were there . I would also recommend having a much spending money as possible, not because things are expensive it is that there is so much to do and it will cost money . Horse riding , vintage 4WD hire , the prices for the sites and tours has risen due to the pandemic . Also supporting local artists .Guest review byJenniAustralia - 10

The site is wonderful and the hotel was surrounded by orchards birds flowers amazing palms. A couple of small interesting local museums with animals local Mayan customs and chocolate cultivation. We traveled by car because my older sister has specific food needs due to ALS. A blender, two boxes of food and a cooler were graciously hauled to and from our room by the hotel staff. They could not have been more accommodating and helped to supplement her diet with fresh food from the kitchen. Uxmal charges US citizen 4 times regular admission. Hotel Uxmal Maya charges 33% more for using US money or cards. Do not go if you don’t want to feel ripped off. Nothing special about hotel as at every turn you have to be guarded about being ripped off.Guest review byKimUnited States
