In four weeks in Mexico this is the best place we stayed. The hotel is completely new and the design of the rooms were excellent toned down luxury. The bed was great with comfortable pillows and duvet, and the temperature good with both new fan and aircon. The location is very central, placed a few blocks from the main road so that it was quiet and relaxing. The view is also great. Run by a lovely couple who were super friendly, helpful and fluent in English. Cannot recommend this place enough, would have loved to stay longer!

Super clean and calm hotel. Good value for money especially over holidays when even hostels are ridiculously priced. Clean sheet and towel every day, rooms get cleaned daily. Helpful and kind staff!

Being able to cool off in the pools was great! We loved the private, semi-outdoor showers + having AC was a bonus too. The whole place is set up so nice! The complimentary breakfasts were always delicious and the pizzas at the restaurant at night were really good too! Luis, the concierge was friendly and helpful!

The best about Monte Uzulu, apart from the view, the design, and the location is the host! Alan is an excellent host, available with the best recommendations and he made sure we were comfortable and happy even when we had some issues that needed to be looked at. The location is perfect, safe and after you walk down the stairs you are right at the heartbeat of San Agustinillo, and at the same time high enough so you have quietness and tranquility. The view from the Suite is exceptional.

Incredible view. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were so helpful. Marco helped me so much to book a taxi with a credit card (because I’d forgotten to bring enough cash). So glad I stayed here! I’ll return as soon as I can.

Zazil retreat is situated on a magical location. The room was amazing and the views were stunning. In the evening you can hear only the sound of the ocean. The breakfast was simple but very tasty. This accommodation exceeded my expectations and I wish I could have stayed there longer!
