Batu Ferringhi is a combination of a beach resort packed with modern hotels and a tropical Asian paradise. Located in the Penang area of northern Malaysia, it is one of the biggest resorts of its kind in the country. Restaurants, shopping centres and numerous modern services and facilities are also available, along with its well-known ‘Pasar Malam’ or Night Market.
The strip along Jalan Batu Ferringhi Street is the main service area, and you’ll find a large variety of hotels on the beach, apartments and guest houses. The area can be divided in three different zones: Tanjung Bungah to the east, Batu Ferringhi itself, and the quieter Teluk Bahang to the west.
