This place was beyond my expectations ! The room was very clean and the facilities were new and well maintained. The bed was very confortable. I also appreciated the location which was close to the main attractions of George Town, you can reach the street art figures on a walking distance. The room have also a view on the sea and jetties, but not noisy at all. There is also too many cute cafes around the corner !

I don't know where to start. From the time we arrived we were welcomed with the Malaysian hospitality. The manager Giri and his staff are very attentive, obliging and very knowledgeable. The check in was flawless, and we were guided to our room by one of lovely staff members. The hotel is on the newer side and is maintained very well unlike some other hotels in Penang... Our loft room was on the top floor and the design of the room was different to normal hotels. Upon entering the room the Gold and glass trimmings were absolutely beautiful. This is a 2 storey room, the shower is absolutely gorgeous, the experience is next to nothing. There is a lounge, TV area also with a small window overlooking the side street. The stair case takes you to the loft where there is a super king comfortable bed for you to rest up in. Everything is spotless, smells fresh, whitest of linen and towels. Our room stay was very comfortable. The pool is on the top floor also with the gym. The pool is something to be seen. I spent most of my time there enjoying the salt water swims, relaxing and taking in the warm Malaysian sun not forgetting to mention the awesome view from the pool deck. Don't forget to experience the sunrise on the pool deck its amazing. The hotel is in a fabulous area within the Unesco Heritage listed precinct. Take a walk and discover little hip cafes, bakeries,..traditional kopitiams, and hundreds of other little eateries. We loved Little India which was a stones throw away where we could enjoy fresh cooked meals for a small price. Armenian Street, clan jetties and lots more in the area for you to discover. The hotel also has a number of restaurants and cafes for you to relax and cool off in. Enjoy and I would highly recommend this hotel above others in the area. Thank you to Giri, and all the beautiful staff at The Prestige Hotel.

    This is my second time visiting George Town and I still felt...

    This is my second time visiting George Town and I still felt that it's not enough time yet that I have not visit the National Park, as well as some local markets nearby in the central area or near the south. also still did not try all the good food there, as well as the local desserts. Will try visit again!

    Georgetown is a walk-able place with happenings.

    Georgetown is a walk-able place with happenings. Georgetown people are friendly to tourists. Local hawkers put effort in making sure Penang street food maintains it's quality and represents real Penang food. We can see the effort of most hawkers, especially those just outside of the main tourist areas; like the ones locals visit in Cecil wet market.

    For those who loves beautiful scenery, art, history building...

    For those who loves beautiful scenery, art, history building, come explore Georgetown, so many pictures you can take here. I eat at roti bakar hutton lane. You can use rapid van less than 10 mins you can arrive there. Walkable distance to jetty, ferry. I went to bukit bendera, the cool air make us comfortable.

    Have stayed at Butter ferringi? Before and much preferred Georgetown, Plenty to see and do there, Mixture of food. Great coffee place, Yes not talking like starbucks etc but Mamac stores etc, Very nice, Cheap and friendly

    George Town has a great range of options for accomodation...

    George Town has a great range of options for accomodation and dining. There are dozens of heritage hotels and guest houses as well as modern hotels and airbnbs. There is food of many different kinds: hawker stalls, coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars all provide a variety of options at a range of price points. For transport, the town is more or less navigable by foot, and, depending on the time of day and time of year, Grab works well and is relatively inexpensive. The town also contains a number of interesting museums and historical buildings. It's history, heritage, architecture, and culture make it a unique and attractive tourist destination.

    A great place to visit but traffic management was terrible...

    A great place to visit but traffic management was terrible with drivers not observing rules concerning human traffic. Would like to see rail connections making more safe for human traffic. Buses are okay but some drivers are hell drivers.

    One of the best hotels whilst staying in Malaysia, wished we booked to stay longer. Had everything you'd need - clean and modern room and bathroom. The air-conditioning was perfect (some places it's directly onto the bed and makes me ill, but not this place, perfect temperature) and it was quiet so we slept really well, water stations on each floor, free complementary coffee in the lobby area and friendly staff. 15 minute walk into the centre of George Town.

    Great location for exploring George Town with loads of shops and restaurants within walking distance, including a food court no more than 5 minutes away. Our family room was large, well equipped and comfortable. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom. The staff at the hotel were welcoming and very friendly; more than happy to help us when we needed it. Our 11th floor room had great views over George Town.

I appreciated the spacious 2-level rooms with 2 bathrooms, the view of trees outside my window, the very comfortable bed and also that the location was so close to everything in George Town. I had a lovely 3-night stay here. There was only one problem and that had nothing to do with the hotel.
