This is a newly established hotel, and it is exceptionally clean! The personnel, from the hotel staff to the security team, were very friendly. Upon my arrival, I encountered an issue with the internet in my room; however, as soon as I reported the problem, they promptly came to my room to resolve it. Additionally, I had a balcony in my room, but it was locked, so I contacted them, and they came upstairs to unlock it. The service at the hotel has been commendable. I believe it opened in January 2025, you could tell from the interior it looks new. The location is convenient, and I use the Grab app for my taxi needs, as it was an economical way to get around, you could get the bus but I'm just lazy lol.

Very spacious apartment with an amazing view from its two balconies. I used the place as my digital nomad base for a week and it was absolutely great. Good internet connection suitable for video calls without breaking up, comfortable working spaces in both rooms, clean and comfy bed, spacious bathroom. The hotel pool was large, quite deep and long enough to be suitable even for swimming training (~20 meters in its longest parts) as it was mostly empty. Location ideal for exploring Penang via public transport - bus line 101, which covers most of the points of interest, stops right at the hotel. Infrequent direct airport bus available too. Few good restaurants and a hawker centre within short walking distance.

Would suggest if you're looking for a quiet stay. Quite far from city. If you want authentic Penang hawker food, need to go to town , abt 45 min drive. If seafood is your thing, then it's the right place. I never miss going to Tai Tong seafood restaurant at Teluk Bahang. Reasonably priced and food is excellent. Been going there for more than 5 years, whenever we're in Penang. There's nite market at T Bahang , Monday nites.

The breakfast selection was superb.

The breakfast selection was superb. We mostly just stayed at the hotel because the facilities provided is splendid if you are looking for a quiet vacation to recharge yourself away from the busy city. Hotel staffs were all very accommodative to suggest good dinner place around, and we had seafood dinner at Tai Tong Seafood, which was amazingly delish! Check in process was quick and they served you iced apple juice while waiting, which was refreshing after a long drive to get there. Value for money is the highlight of Angsana. Will come again.

- guest lift was very slow and always wet - breakfast menu was NOT like a Banyan Tree manage resort/hotel and it can be BETTER with the price that u pay for our room rate - hardly seen housekeeping staff at the public area and that make the hotel cleanness so bad
