Villa Hutan Datai is a collection of 4 beautiful villas located in the middle of ancient rainforest with breathtaking views of Malacca straits and Turatao national park, it's very secluded and peaceful with access via a private road with gated entrance. It’s an amazing place where you can fully relax and enjoy the nature around you, inc monkeys, eagles, hornbill’s, squirrels, and lizards. Our Villa had fantastic views of Datai bay which is shared only with the world class 5* Datai hotel. There's a short walk on the private road through the rainforest to the beach and the host of the villas Kenneth and Jenny will drive you there and pick you up on request if you wish. Special mention and thanks must go to Jenny and Kenneth who are the most kind, hospitable and happy people who couldn't do enough for us over six fantastic days we stayed. They would go out of their way to provide anything we wished for inc any food or drink request. As well as the Hotel Datai close by there is also a championship golf course just a few miles away. Everything was amazing, especially the privacy and views . As well as the 4 villas overall, there is a freestanding lounge and dining room villa which all guests can share, and it’s filled with beautiful items and furniture collected by the owner. Breakfast each morning was lovely served on the balcony with a good selection of fruits and cooked foods. There is also an infinity swimming pool with amazing views to die for. One of the best places we have stayed with great service, we would love to go back!

We recently enjoyed a memorable stay at this beautiful property in Langkawi as a couple, and it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. Tucked away in a slightly secluded spot, the location offered us complete privacy and a tranquil escape, which made our getaway incredibly special. Every morning, we were greeted by a breathtaking and uninterrupted view of the sea from the property—a scene that created the perfect setting for peaceful mornings and romantic evenings. The serene atmosphere allowed us to genuinely relax and connect, far from the noise and distractions of everyday life. The property itself was impeccably maintained. We noticed the care that went into every detail, ensuring everything was spotlessly clean and welcoming. It felt like a sanctuary, with lush surroundings and calming vibes all around. A standout aspect of our stay was the exceptional hospitality. The caretaker, Mr. Ken, was always available and went above and beyond to make our experience smooth and stress-free. Whether we needed help with local recommendations or had special requests, he handled everything with a lot of warmth

The property is a hidden gem - amidst a scenic piece of paradise (as the name suggests) - on a hilltop, overlooking the blue ocean. The property itself is very tastefully done - architecture as well as the interiors, with multiple elevations. The room is super large and the bathrooms have a splendid view! The infinity pool overlooking the sea is a treat. Kenneth was very warm and went over and beyond his duty to take care of us. We needed a break and this was more than we imagined - definitely coming back soon with more friends and family!

This Langkawi getaway was a dream come true, offering perfect privacy and tranquility. The location is breathtakingly beautiful, tucked away from the crowds and city noise, with fantastic views of both the sea and mountains. The staff were incredibly kind, the food was delicious, and the accommodations were remarkably clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It was the ultimate relaxing escape.

Amazing stay at The Datai Langkawi. We were here during low season and it was raining non stop for two days. Despite the weather, the staffs had done everything and more to ensure we had a pleasant stay. It was actually lovely listening to the showers of rain - we felt very calm and at peace.

Super near the famous Datai resort, beautiful beaches, langkawi cable car. Property is really nicely placed in a kampong area. Quiet and away from commercial places. The villa was spacious for two, clean and has most ammenities.
