How am I going to put into words how absolutely wonderful Kifaru Bush Camp was?? One can not but feel welcome when you are personally greeted by Natalia Nailenge as you step out of the vehicle.Welcome rooibos tea cocktails offered by a smiling Hambeleleni Nakapandi. Dinner was from heaven for Chef Selma E Shigwedha prepared exeptional Oryx steaks with beautiful side dishes after our evening drive. Amber and Tristan Muller - manager/guide I booked an evening drive but only morning drives are done, but these two young people went above and beyond to make an evening drive possible and Richardo had lovely sundowner drinks and snacks ready and available on our arrival at the viewing area. Johannes controlled everything fire, from the inviting camp fire on arrival back from our drive to every room's boiler fire for our hot water. Not only was our visit and drive fantastic, it was also educational. Amber and Tristan shared their passion for protecting the rhino in their care and about the 'Rhino Momma Project" 'More time to visit' is definitely on my list for next time.

Our experience at Tarentaal Guest Farm was absolutely magical, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our time in Namibia. From the moment we arrived, Piet and Mariana Gouws made us feel like part of their family, offering a warm welcome that set the tone for our entire stay. Their genuine hospitality and passion for their beautiful farm truly made the difference. The guesthouse itself is a peaceful oasis, with beautifully decorated rooms that were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The garden and surroundings are simply stunning, offering a perfect blend of tranquillity and nature. We enjoyed many relaxing moments here, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of the farm. What really made our stay special, though, were the hosts. Piet’s knowledge of the local area was invaluable, and he was always eager to share interesting stories and tips to make our trip even better. Mariana’s cooking was a highlight of each day – delicious, hearty meals that were always prepared with love. Dining with the other guests around a communal table felt like sharing a meal with old friends. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat away from the typical tourist spots, with incredible hosts who treat you like family, we can’t recommend Tarentaal Guest Farm highly enough. We loved our stay at this beautiful lodge! The staff were super helpful, and the food was delicious. The game drive was fantastic, and meeting the ostriches was a highlight. The peaceful surroundings and stunning wildlife made it a perfect retreat. Highly recommended!

WOW!! what a little gem with personality as well as personal touches every where you look. A homely atmosphere, with the family dogs joining the welcome as we step out of the vehicle, to the Brothers bringing out the fairy lights as the sun sets over the vast view in front of us as we enjoy drinks and conversation next to the pool. As the fire crackles in the background, ready for the steaks to be prepared, the spread of side dishes are being set out in the beautiful dining room. We enjoy dinner outside by a beautifully set round table, care being taken for our comfort as every chair has a blanket too. The friendly care and attention taken by the Owner and her staff was unforgettable!! I arranged for packed lunches for the next day's trip and we received way more than we needed. Freshly made sandwiches, fruit, snacks and drinks as well as vegetarian options. Definitely worth a visit

The place is spectacular – in the middle of the bush, surrounded by peace and tranquility. The perfect spot to escape for a few days and unwind after a busy stretch. We did several activities with the rhinos, and the experience was a 10 out of 10. The staff is lovely, and every detail is taken care of. The food is incredible – some of the best we’ve had on the trip. The work they do with the rhinos is admirable. We learned so much, and it’s clear the caretakers are fully dedicated to the animals. The rooms are simply a dream! It was our honeymoon, and this was the perfect destination to end the journey. Highly recommended for at least a two-night stay. We had high expectations, and it still exceeded them. Without a doubt, we hope to come back soon. Thank you to the whole Kifaru team – it was an unforgettable experience.

At the campsite we really enjoyed the grass, trees and the super clean ablution facilities. Overall we were completely over the top impressed!!!!!!

Very relaxing and quiet lodge just outside of Outjo. The room was clean and bigger than expected. All the staff were very friendly. They also have a restaurant and the food is good. Would recommend.
