The airport is very easy to navigate, staff are friendly and most speak English as well as Dutch. The train, which is in the same area as the airport, requires a credit card for each passenger but is very easy to tap on and off. If you are looking for a good flat white (if you know, you know), look carefully before you order - most places use automatic machines and the coffee is ordinary. I was in Amsterdam on a 14 hour layover back to Canada and just needed somewhere to sleep, shower and have breakfast before my next flight the following day. The room was very satisfactory for my needs. It is not a large room but was very clean and comfortable and provided all the amenities that I needed. The price which included breakfast was value for the money. The staff were pleasant and the premises clean. Hotel was very nice - extremely clean, staff was helpful, pleasant, and professional.
