The location is perfect, especially if you have a car, parking was no problem. The facilities were amazing, very quiet with a very comfortable bed. The restaurant was excellent. Dokkum is a lovely town and the hosts treated me like family. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Very nice and quite location, really convenient for 1 day travel to Ameland. The room was really well furnished, very clean and had a wide comfy bed. Unfortunately we left early and could not have a breakfast, however the dinner in the restaurant was delicious - really one of the best mussels in my life!

What a find. Lovely little hotel on the Canal and the owners were just so friendly and helpful. Superb food for the evening. Very unusual hotel and quirky but superb.

The property was excellent, only exceeded by the fantastic food served there. The rooms were well furnished and comfortable with all the necessary extras to make for a very enjoyable stay. the food was some of the best I’ve ever eaten and portion sizes very good.
