You really need a car.
You really need a car. The Dutch will tell you "go everywhere by bike - we do!" but they're used to the constant wind and rain. It's a "cute" village (650 inhabitants) with very few facilities (so a car needed) and the nearest supermarket is 4 kilometres away. You can't really walk anywhere as the roads are really only meant for bikes, tractors and local's cars - there's no pavement on most of the roads.Guest review byCarolynSwitzerland
